Doing well on my no chocolate challenge, but I was craving it this morning. I normally have a mini protein bar in the afternoon, and they are chocolate, so not sure if im going to skip them this week or still have them as they are chocolate but they arnt, if you get what I mean.0

I think protein bars should get a pass if they're part of your regular schedule. I mean, they're not SWEETS, and you don't want to mess up your calorie allocations. We're behind you whichever way you rule though0 -
Ugh, just realized some "poison" snuck onto the grocery cart today. But I didn't eat it!
Ben, Jerry, you'll just have to wait another week or more for our next date.

Staying on my no fast food plan this week.
Also steering clear of diet sodas this week, though that wasn't part of my challenge. I'm just taking a break from the carbonation as I try increase my fluids to a minimum of 8 cups a day. It's a little easier to chug down 8 ounces of Crystal Light than it is 8 ounces of soda pop.0 -
A little late, but I guess I'll just go with it! Um... I think I'll give up alcohol for the remainder of the week. I drunk a lot over the holidays and find myself only stopping when the wine runs out!0

I only eat them at work so just the one this week.

AH! I caved last night! I was craving chocolate all day and when I finally got home from work, I had a few chocolate chips. Not very many, but I definitely gave into my craving! Oh well, No chocolate the rest of the week (the whole 3 days!) for me!0

Haven't eaten bread yet but came close once or twice, LOL! It's crazy how you just automatically reach for something without really thinking about it. Maybe the day will dawn where I crave celery or roma tomatoes but for now, man how I miss my bread!!!

I suppose mine would be juice. I rarely drink soda and am allergic to most candy (chocolate; nuts, etc.) But juice is also high in sugar so I will lay off that.0

Had a soda today...without even realizing what I was doing! I went through the drive thru, ordered a diet coke w/o thinking about it and didn't even realize I had ruined my challenge until it was gone! Grrrrrr.0

This week's challenge is the ONLY reason I did not succumb to fast food the past two days.
Yesterday, I was out doing some grocery shopping and had plenty of extra calories to spare. My first thought was, "I could get myself a little something. It will fit into my calories." But I pushed through it and went straight home instead.
Today was harder. I got a bad start to my day by not eating enough. I'm coming out of a once-a-day eating pattern and trying to fix my metabolism by eating something every three hours at TDEE for the day. Unfortunately, I'm just not hungry in the mornings and have barely been making my BMR.
Well, 5:30 p.m. rolls around, I've eat less than 400 calories, my son visiting his dad and the first thought that pops into my head is, "One way to push closer to my TDEE would be grabbing a burger, or maybe a burrito." I almost did it, too. Then I started to feel guilty. If I did that, I'd have to come here and confess my food sin. So, I sucked it up and fixed a grilled cheese and almonds. (Note: grilled cheese does not cook very well using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray. Maybe the spread would work better for grilled cheese.)0 -

Aack! I was to give up bread this week and everthing was going swimmingly until yesterday. I went out with a friend for east indian food and ordered the naan without thinking. It was half eaten by the time I remembered I wasn't supposed to eat bread. I still ate the other half but I did it with a little guilt LOL! Oh well, on to the next challenge...0

Our weekly challenge s almost over. How did you go?
I was doing ok till I was given a box of chocolates and I have eaten some. But I am going to try and keep up the less chocolate eating as I didn't miss it, just ate it because it was there.0 -
Let's just say I'm ready for next week's challenge! I didn't think the no soda thing would be that hard for me, but it's crazy how once I said I wasn't going to have it, all of a sudden that's all I wanted! Grr...0

Well I was supposed to give up salty snacks and I didn't do well today I went to the movies and for the first time I did not have movie theater popcorn but then I forgot myself and had puffcorn instead plus I had smartpop one day so I'd say I failed:sad: this challenge but I'm ready for the next:drinker: :bigsmile:0

I blew it! I went to El Pollo loco. I ate healthy and within my calories, but it was still fast food.
For some reason, I thought today was the beginning of a new challenge, not the last day of this challenge.
I guess that means I posted in next week's challenge early.0 -
Fresh_start I think you will find I'm in a different time zone to you so I probably post things a day early to you guys. That's ok though, you thought the challenge was over and you did great.0
