I think I may have missed the point a little. Is this a particular event that you have coming up or just a general fancy dress thread? Cause I love costumes anytime of the year and think that it should be a mandatory requirement of every night out, however I have no pictures unfortunately. Oh wait yes I do but I dont know how to put them on here! Doh ! I could probibly figure that out based on what every1 else has done but I don't think I can be bothered! I will try, *ramble over sorry*

Do costumes I made for my kids count?

I love dress up of all kinds. I dont do it enough myself, but I indulge my kids every chance I have...or rather, they indulge me? LOL

Finally finished my resident evil grips for part of my costume

Bought some cuff links and pin badges to massacre for the inserts in the grips, managed to rip my thumb open last week on my plane and its taken this long to heal! Bit of sanding and beeswax polish n then drilled and sanded out the inserts ready for carrying on tomorrow

You buy things just to tear them up, typical man  Be sure to post the finished product (maybe then I'll be able to tell what you're making heh).

I'm working on my Emma Frost costume for Phx comicon. I still need gloves, boots, and choker (and maybe different pants).

I made this plague doctor character for Halloween:

And then I just bought this because I love Donatello. But it's the only geeky costume that I wore that wasn't made up.

Hi, nice to meet some fellow geeks!

Last year for the gaming society's Halloween party, I simply bought an Iron Man mask, stuck fake eyelashes and lipstick on it, and wore it with the new medieval dress I'd just made - I went as Iron Maiden!

Looks good so far! I agree about the pants though. Those pockets almost ruin it.

When I was a few hundred pounds heavier I went as The Blob from X-men Evolution. I'm trying to dig up a picture now.

I'm doing Kate Bishop/Hawkeye from the Hawkeye #9 cover for C2E2. I have the shirt, sunglasses, jeans and boots. I ordered a quiver off Ebay and made some arrows

    tumblr_inline_mkearmlhSA1qz4rgp.jpg

I actually re-did them today using archery glue that I bought and they look 100x better! I can't wait!
