I know a lot of people are obviously trying to find someone because it can be nice to have someone to share your life with, but I thought we would switch things up a bit and look at reasons you like being single :drinker:
I like the freedom of not having to check in with anyone and just do what I want, when I want. I have a lot more time to focus on me especially right now that I'm trying to work on myself both physically and mentally.

Honestly, my ideal relationship won't be much different then me being single, because I really like being single. I wouldn't get into a relationship where I was expected to check in, or messed with my emotions.

No drama! Not having to worry what he is doing. And being ale to flirt with guys and not feel guilty.

I like being single because I can come and go as I wish. I dont have to worry about drama, someone over my shoulder all up in what I am doing.
Sometimes I do miss human companionship as much as I love my furbabies though. And yeah the sex too........ (wait- what is that again?)0 -

I like being single because I can do what I want with my time, no more drama and roller coaster. I also like it because I can choose who I want to see or have sex with and then come back home on my own.0

My 4 yr old niece is better with my iphone than I am---and neither of her parents even have in iphone that she could have gotten familiar with--it is amazing!0 -

YES! My son has been my "techie" since he was about 6. It is amazing how much these kiddos know.0 -

I like having control over my diet..I always gain weight when in relationships...because I always seem to date men who love to cook and who are not huge fans of vegetables or healthy stuff
I like not checking in and stopping off after work if I want to - basically not having to let anyone know my schedule
I like not having to clean up after someone else
And I like that I can participate in boobie friday haha0 -

I like the fact that I am moving to Iowa for the next couple of years for grad school and I don't have to worry about leaving anyone behind. I like the fact that I can really focus on what I want to do and learning as much as I can about my chosen career without someone distracting me from the time I need. I'm also the kind of person who craves solitude a lot -- I'm a very outgoing person, but if I don't get my occasional evenings with nobody around I start to get a little b*tchy.0

I like being single because it just feels like there are endless possibilities ... I can spend my time with anyone or no one. I can do anything I want without having to consider how someone else is going to feel about it. I have absolute control over my free time, over the TV, over the food I eat ... banal as they may seem, these are the compromises you have to make in relationships.
That is not to say I wouldn't prefer to be in a relationship, but I'll take being single anyday over being in a relationship that just isn't right.0 -
