Nice going on those carbs and keeping the fats down.

How were you feeling? Was it a struggle to eat them or did you have fun doing it?

I had fun, felt good too.

    Today I'm at 149.8. Keep moving :)

I'm struggling to find what my daily calorie intake should be now.

Leave your regular intake roughly where it has been for a short time so we can just observe what happens over the course of the next few days.

Can you change your diary to track sodium for now (if you need to drop one, drop the sugar tracking). Thanks.

Pretty sure if the scale just keeps climbing, I'm going to start starving myself. ( Even though I know its the wrong way) Cause this depression hurts. I bust my butt. I know I do cause my body's always sore. I eat relativity healthy ( minus this weekend, Mother's Day) but instead of any success, my scale keeps climbing.

What was your weight this morning? Your sodium was a little higher then usual (not that high though) which may have affected the scale.

Have your measurements changed in your navel/waist area in the past few weeks?

I measure at my belly button. Over last week it has bounced back and forth from 27 inches and 27.5 inches.

Over the past couple of months has this measurement stayed between 27 and 27.5?

I went back and looked it basically has stayed at 27 inches. If its 27.5 it's usually 27 again when I measure.

Ok, so we know that even when your weight fluctuates upwards, your waistline is not increasing.

Have you noticed any change in how clothing fits, or any other weight-gain related effects aside from the number on the scale?

For the most part, no. I do have a pair of jeans that are a little tighter in the thighs. But recently bought new jeans and still same size.

    Hi!

We are really loathe to cut calories again. You look like you may be maintaining (on average) on about 300 calories than you were before. We think it would be in your best longer term interest to keep trying to walk your calories up so they get high enough to cut from. As your measurements have not increased, the slight fluctuations in your weight more recently do not appear to be 'fat' gains but more likely water/food weight.

As the scale seems to be causing a lot of consternation, we would suggest you only weigh yourself once a week at most. We think you should try to remain on your current calories for at least another week, and then weigh yourself at the end (I think Sunday's are your 'official' weigh in dates). If you can stick it out for a bit longer and then give is an update that would be great.

In the mean time, could you have a listen to this - it discusses metabolic damage. It will explain the situations where it is best in the long run to get calories up rather then keeping to cut calories.

So try to get to 1500?
    Yesterday I couldn't get there.
I weighed today cause my hubby swore it was water weight, so I drank little extra water yesterday to flush out.
    Today 150.2

Last week you were at 1,570 on average so I would aim for 1,600 an average.

Looks like you dropped that extra pop in weight you had which is great as it indicates you are maintaining on the higher calories.

My goal is to lose not maintain
I'll try for 1600, it sometimes is a stretch.

I realize that but as I mentioned, we need to get you to a level to cut from and still have a reasonable caloric intake. I would recommend that you listen to the video I linked.
