Hi
On looking at your weights both in the above post and what you posted via this thread or via PM, it looks as though your weight has stabilized (outside water weight fluctuations) at the higher calories (your average has been a little shy of 1,600). So, with a mind to getting your calories up enough to cut from we are going to ask you to up your calories by 100 with the increase going to carbs and check back with us at your next scheduled weigh-in.
I realize that you are frustrated with your lack of losses, but we just need to get you up high enough so that we can crated a deficit without having to cut your calories to a horribly low level.0 -
So try for 1700. It's tough
What should my carbs be?0 -

Sorry for the delay in responding. Try to get as much of the increase to carbs as possible.0 -
HI! Just checking in to see how you are doing.0
-
Well one of my daycare kids broke my scale, so haven't been able to check weight. :sad:0
-
this might be a very good thing for you.
weighing every day can get obsessive and unhealthy, mentally and emotionally. i stopped weighing everyday for this reason. i limit it to about once a week or once every 2 weeks.
maybe this break will help you relax a bit and enjoy the process of getting STRONGER and HEALTHIER!0 -

I actually do not think the OP was weighing every day (except the week we asked her to, to track results of a reefed).0 -

When you get a new scale, there may be a variance that we will need to be cognizant of. In the mean time, you can track maintenance (which is what we want to ensure you are at, and not gaining) by measurements and the fit of your clothes.
Do you think your weight has increased or do you think you are still maintaining?0 -
I have checked measurements, all the same. I'm guessing scale is too. Haven't found the scale I'm looking for. Yeah my fear is it not be same as my other scale was.0

Hi
We will be looking to up your calories again, but it will probably be best to wait until you get a new scale so we can see what it is doing. Please let us know when you get a new one. It may well give a different reading so do not get too caught up in the numbers of the first weigh in you have on it.
In the mean time, try to get as close to the 1,700 as possible - you are a shy of it on average for the last 2 weeks (at 1,530). In fact, you have your goal set at 1,600.0 -
I know I haven't hit 1700. I'm trying. It's my goal this week.
I got a new scale. Bought same brand and similar style. Weighted in on Sunday, 149.2
Stomach was only measurement change, down 1/4 inch0 -
Great - can you check back with us in 2 weeks so we can see how you are doing, unless you have major changes or have questions or concerns, then check back with us sooner.0

Well like 2 days later I was 151 ( 7/4)
I tried hard to stay closer to 1700 each day
I dropped to 149 on 7/12, still today at 149.
In 2 wks I plan to start the new focus T250 -
Hi. It looks like you still have not upped your calories as the last 2 weeks per your diary are still averaging 1.550.0

Hitting 1700 is hard, last week I had several days I made sure I hit it. But someday it's tough. I'm just not hungry.0

Look for more calorie dense foods. Peanut Butter for example.0 -
So I started the new Focus T25, it's an awesome workout. I got through day 5 on Friday and Friday afternoon severely broke my pinky toe. I can barely walk. I was given a shoe to wear to help. They said minimal activity. I pretty much wanted to cry at urgent care when I realized my workout was crushed and so is running for now. Just when I finally felt positive and was hoping to drop pounds and inches again.
I'm gonna try to modify things the best I can and do upper body. Of course upper is already my strong area. But my concern is calorie intake? Should I be cutting back with less activity?0 -
As 1) you are not managing to eat the amounts we recommended and 2) you will be able to do less strength training, I would not recommend cutting calories back further. Being in a deficit and not being able to strength train is not a good situation unless it is for a very short time.0

Well it's not like I'm not trying. All this whole process has done is depress me. I can't lose for nothing , I can gain no problem. So last week my average was 1,667. And I gained.0

I was 145 lbs when I started asking for help, today I'm 152.
I'm supposed to keep my chin up and just keep eating more and more :ohwell:0 -

Don't understand the keep eating more and more and more while now I can't do regular workouts. I'm in huge fear of gaining anymore.0 -

We are not saying to eat more and more and more. Based on the thread - you were 149lb when you started taking our advice.0 -
The beginning of April my first post I was 145
It seems as though cause I just keep getting told to change my numbers. One of you says go to 1500, then the other 1600, then 1700.
I can't lose, if I do it's very temporary. Then I gain.
I'm trying to eat cleaner.0 -
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the help/advise. But you gotta see my side when since April, all I have really done is gain weight. Plus being down with this broken toe, just saddens me more.
When I look at my TDEE less 20% now with less activity. It has me at 1,576. ( that's with 1-3 days of exercise)0 -

You may have been 145 when you first posted, but were 149lb when we gave our advice.
We explained why we were upping your calories in this thread as we were doing this. Who is posting between myself and SideSteel is not relevant as we both post as a unit as we discuss all intake advice with each other and come to a unanimous decision. It has not been one telling you one thing then another telling you something else. It has been a progression.0
