Beverly and Bob. I had 2 of my really good freinds pass away this year within 3 months of each other. They both passed away due to complications in surgury because of their weight. I love them and miss them dearly and I dont want my family to have to deal with the pain that I have had to endure because of their passing.

I did not log in or reach all of my goals on the challenge due to my granddaughter being very ill and in the hospital. She is much better and I will be back on track this week!!

good morning White & Pink team!! I hope everyone is having a great day!!

I have had sick children in my house last week and into this week so it is a little hard to get exercise in the day, but I am trying.
The best moment I had was Saturday, I was exercising with my grandchildren. They are 2 and 3 years old. We did push ups and sit ups. My grandson kept telling me the rest of the weekend "come on grandma, lets exercise" I loved it!!

Phelps, Kids are funny. They can really help or they can hinder a good workout. My youngest tries every once in a while to workout with me. He is so uncoordinated though it cracks me up. Apparently, I'm not too coordinated either (or maybe I just simply look funny) but if I try to exercise in front of the older ones they laugh at me. The best exercise when they are around is a nice walk/jog around the neighborhood or a game of basketball. Still a lot of laughs but not at anyones expense.

I had a good week last week. I need to get more consistent with daily food tracking. On the weekend, I biked, kayaked and walked on the beach. It was lovely. Back on the down side again of the roller coaster but I want to push further this week.

Meeting with a personal trainer 2x this week. I'm going to be sore!

Just took my dog out for a short run. Really I was trying to find my cat! We moved about 6 weeks ago and my cat keeps going back to the old house. Its only half a mile away and the neighbors have been keeping an eye out for him but I wish he'd just keep his little tail home where he belongs:grumble:

Trying to get back on track, but these past 2wks have been up & down for me, the past couple of days I haven't been getting all my calories in or my water, I didn't make it to the gym Monday or Tuesday, so I'll only get 4 days in this week, forgot to post my weigh in on Monday and check the challenge so now I'm behind with that, and it just goes on and on, so I hope I can get it together to see a loss for Monday. But on a brighter note, I haven't really ran since high school, so when I'm on the treadmil, I just walk at a moderate pace. So I've been doing intervals on the treadmill and today I was able to run a full 8mins straight and if my husband would've stopped calling me, I may have reach that mile, but there's always tomorrow, I'm just so excited to see the changes and improvements I've made since joining MFP and being committed to my journey in this lifestyle change. A month ago I struggled just to run for 1min, 60sec and today I ran 8mins and my hr never reached 190. I am so excited

Channy, you've been doing amazing! Its perfectly normal to have a few set backs... don't worry, just keep moving forward. And a big Congrats on the intervals! I love running but I didn't start until a couple years ago. Now I try to sign up for all the mudruns and races I can find.

Well I had a great workout last night, started today off with 30mins on the treadmill this morning and looking forward to getting off to get into some Zumba, it's amazing, I actually look forward to working out, who would have ever thought. When I don't workout my days just seem so blah, I feel like I've missed out on something. My coworkers always say "you went to the gym this morning didn't you" or "you didn't make it to the gym today huh". It's amazing what just 30mins of walking in the morning can do for ones attitude for an entire day. I love the new me!

I am on my stationary bike every day, unfortunately I can not calculate miles on it.
I will be walking a lot this weekend. Hopefully I can estimate the miles. Also thinking of going hiking this weekend or swimming, either would be something different. Wish me luck!!

Alright I'm sitting here wanting something sweet, not because I'm hungry, but because I'm bored and starring at these oatmeal cream pies that my daughter picked up while at the store. The old me would've glanced at the calories and thought it's only 170cals and I would've just eaten it, now I actually do a lot of label reading and realized the 13g of sugar just isn't worth it. I think I'll eat an apple with some peanut butter instead, definitely a healthier choice.

Phelps, how vigorous do you ride? I'm sure your at least going 10 miles per hour. Just use your best guess-timation. I mean really the only person your hurting if you give false information is yourself so I completely trust that you'd be honest with your calculations. Someone introduced me to a cool website too that might be helpful with your walks its walkjogrun.net You can map out your route to see how many mile you will be traveling. I've used it to map a 5K around my neighborhood. I also used it when I was in Vegas to figure how many miles I was walking on the strip.

Channy, I LOVE my morning jogs. It really feels good to start your day feeling like you accomplished something and did something for yourself. Congrats on the self control too! I didn't realize how much sugar I eat until I changed my diary settings recently. Sugar in hidden in everything:grumble:

Aprilstar, yes sugar is in EVERYTHING, I use to drink the Special K protein shakes, but when I joined mfp and logged it in and realized they have 18g of sugar , the rest of that case is still in my pantry 2 months later. I spend so much more time at the grocery store now because I read the labels on everything, I never thought I would read pass the calories on the labels, but this has been quite an eye opener.

weigh-in 172.2, up 0.2lbs...I was looking forward to going below 170lbs, I was 170.8lbs when I weighed-in on Friday, but for the past 3 days I've been really swollen to the point where I'm struggling to get my rings off, so I'll see what happens in a week, maybe I can finally reach that 20lb goal...

K, so I took a computer class once many years ago and they taught me how to use the formats in spreadsheets but I totally forgot so if someone wants to add the format to the spreadsheet that would be totally awesome.
