The furthest I ran without stopping was 9 miles running a 1/2 marathon. It was a shocker to me when I saw the 9 mile mark and realized I had been running the whole time. Hope to accomplish that for the next one.0

So far a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) but the plan is to run full marathon in October so I should start seeing some longer runs in the near future.0

How far have you been able to run without taking walking breaks?
I ran the Longstreet Race at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina - a 20.2 mile race.
Did OK for my age group and, better yet, quit smoking that day! :-)0 -
15.28 miles.
Marathon training starts next month, the race is Nov 20130 -
20 miles while training my first year, but not anymore since I learned it's OK to slow down for water breaks.
I'd love to say that I don't take any walk breaks during marathons, but I learned a few races ago that I do better if I allow 30 seconds or so at each drink station.0 -
13.1 - my last (and second) half in April I did not stop to walk once! No water stops either - it was in the 40s, so hydration was not an issue.0

Just joined this group a few days ago and thought I'd add mine. So far it's 13.1 (both of my half marathons). Just started training from my first marathon in October, so I'll have some longer stop-free runs coming up soon :-)0

13.1 miles. I'm registered for the Niagara Falls Marathon in October so let the training begin!0

How far have you been able to run without taking walking breaks?
Ive done road half marathons all the way thru, but I walk pretty frequently in trail ultras. I've never done a road marathon, so I don't know about that.0 -
Longest without walking was 14 miles.. I did a metric marathon (16.28 miles) but I had to walk a good bit at the end. The course was much more hilly than I had anticipated.0

I ran 14KMs without walk breaks.
Normally I follow a 10/1 run/walk pattern on my long runs. Last week-end, using this split, I completed 16.25 KMs with a faster overall pace compared to the 14KM steady run I had done the week before.
Walk breaks give me just enough recovery to maintain a good race pace.0
