Well, I did it! I survived L1D1. I can't say I did every single exercise, but except for grabbing a couple of gulps of water, I kept moving. When things got tough, I tried to think about those "before" pics I took this morning. That was pretty motivational!

I did level 1 day one yesterday. I"M SO SORE. LOL. I must be so out of shape because I hurt all over. lol. I didn't do the workout today because I was really sore but I will be getting one in tomorrow morning for sure. I felt great after doing the workout. I also did 10 minutes Cardio of the 10 minute trainer and I felt great after doing the workout . . . Today, lol not so much. lol but I'm really excited to see results at the end of the month.0

I had to take 2 days off to handle some family situations, I just completed day 4 today, it was not as bad my arms did not hurt as much today0

Finished L1D2! I was a little sore today, but I think I'm gonna be a LOT sore tomorrow! Today was easier, though. I completed more of the exercises and took less water breaks. I kept moving and pushed myself when I wanted to stop. So far I haven't cussed Jillian, but I'm sure that's coming, lol!0

I completed Level 1 this morning. I lost 1 pound during the 10-day cycle. I have not taken my measurements, but my clothes fit much better, and I feel lighter! I don't plan to take measurements until the end of Level 3. I am determined to complete the entire 30 days of the program!0

4 completed! It seemed a bit harder today than yesterday, but I haven't eaten much today. I hate when I have erands to run! I forget to eat. :ohwell:

Natural waist - no loss
Waist at belly button - loss of 0.5 inches
Hips - loss of 0.5 inches
Chest - loss of 0.5 inches
Upper arm - no loss
Thigh - loss of 0.5 inches
This means I've only lost 2 inches overall and to top it off my weight has gone up 4lbs!!!!!!!
At my last attempt at the shred exactly the same thing happened...I gained weight. Am I destined to stay this weight after having children? Any suggestions or tips? Do you think doing more cardio would help? I'm already eating the minimum 1200 calories so don't know where I'm going wrong.0 -
Change that 2 inch loss to 3 - stupidly forgot I have 2 arms and legs - doh lol!!!0

Without any data (age, food diary) it is hard to say. Some possibilities are:
If you are only eating 1200 calories plus exercising, you probably need to up your calories. Sounds wrong but it is true your body needs a certain amount to maintain itself if you eat too little your body gets afraid to let go of the fat. Try upping your cals 100-200 daily. Or up to 1700 once a week.
You could have just hit a plateau, keep working on it your body will catch on soon. Sometimes a shake up, either increase or decrease in calories for a day is enough of a shake up to get the ball rolling again.
This week I have eaten the lowest calories and have had the least loss. I 'm going to try making sure to hit 1400 cals.0 -

You can also try eating 5 to 6 small meals a day which will rev up your metabolism0 -
