I'm in Atlanta, Georgia, but I've only been here less than 2 years. Before that, I was in Houston & Galveston, TX for 20 years, NYC for 10, Birmingham, AL for 13, and was originally from New Orleans!

Hi, just found your group and am thrilled. I am 49 and live in a little town outside of Denton Texas. I joined MFP on Aug 27th (my 49th birthday) with the determination to hit my 50s much healthier and lighter. I immediately started looking for women around my age that were succeeding in weight loss, as I knew we had unique challenges in this area. I have around 90 women on my friends list now, many who have lost and kept off significant amounts of weight, despite menopause, injuries, arthritis, etc. They are a great motivation for me whenever I start to doubt myself. I will share the group link on my wall and invite them all to join us here, as there is definitely strength in numbers!0

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (Tulsa) for the past 2 years come January. Before that in the Kansas City, Missouri area for the past 28 years and grew up about an hour north of KC.0

Oh, I love Decatur! I lived in Virginia Highlands for several years. I miss being able to walk to places!! Walking to Piedmont Park on a nice day was one of my favorite things to do.0 -

Born in PA - lived in Detroit (2 years) - lived in NJ 6 years - moved to CO for 6.5 years - moved to MD for 2 years and HS graduation - went to college in VA - met husband - lived in White Marsh MD for 9 years - moved to the Eastern Shore of MD (Easton) for 19 years and happily moved back to Colorado 4 years ago. Live 16 miles south of Westcliffe, CO (town of 400) - on 142 acres in my dream log home!...Life is good and with weight loss even better!0

Hello to all of the North Texas ladies! I lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the better part of 43 years and am now near Omaha, NE. I'm happy living here, but I do miss my family. I lived in northwest Arkansas for a bit in my early twenties while I went to school and got married, then took him home to Texas.0

my mom is from Houston. i was born in New Orleans, LA left ther ein 1977 moved to Hattiesburg, MS i have since moved to Augusta, GA for 4 months, Columbia, SC for 4 months, Dayton, OH suburb of Fairborn for 23 months and i lived in Vicksburg, MS for 18 months. now i'm back in Hattiesburg and i plan on staying put0 -
