Hi Guys!!! We are heading into our WEEK 9 Challenge!!!! I did not have time to make a video this week....BUT I have a GREAT challenge set up for us!! I thought it would be a good idea to set up a challenge this week that would be a TEAM challenge since we have all new teams!!!! So here goes:

Physical Challenge: Starting Thursday (11/8) - Wednesday (11/14)

You need to post on this thread all the MINUTES that you EXERCISE!!!! The team with the MOST MINUTES EXERCISED will win this challenge!!! Please be sure to participate so you can contribute to your teams totals!!!!

Nutritional Challenge:

With Thanksgiving approaching in a few weeks, I thought it might be helpful to try and swap some HEALTHY recipes or ideas for your Thanksgiving dinner!!!! How will you be handling this Thanksgiving??? How can we make it HEALTHY???

Good Luck to everyone!!!!

Pam :)

I will try to remember, but I usually don't have a lot of time or forget. I will try to do it on one day for all of my days.

I do not have a recipe to suggest for the holidays but maybe a couple of ideas.
    - Have something untraditional to eat. We might do salmon this year.
    - We have a small family so if we do want turkey we go out for a Traditional turkey dinner at a restaurant so we are not nibbling on a bunch of leftovers.
    - www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com has a lot of healthy dessert recipes.
    - It helps to get out for exercise. A brisk walk makes everyone feel better.
    - Maybe plan some holiday fun that is not focused around food... Ice skating, movies, crafts, games.. That type of thing.

I am sorry Team # 2 but unfortunately I don't think I will be much help with this challenge....:blushing: I am working through some issues with my knee which is holding me back from exercising right now.

The good news is I fully intend to help with the weigh ins. To steal a quote I saw on here a few days ago "Weight loss is found in the kitchen. Fitness is found in the gym"... I may not be getting as fit as I like right now but I can still loose some fat...:flowerforyou:

    Cheers,
    Alsison
