I told myself after I changed my ticker to reflect my weight gain that I was done weighing...well I couldn't stay off my scale and now I really wish I would have!!! I'm starting to swell (even though I drink WAY more water than recommend) I think that's a lot of it...I'm up 5 lbs in 2 days! Ahh..

40 weeks and two days and I'm up 45 lbs..so much for keeping the gain under 40lbs

You will probaly have a ten minute long pee and lose it all later today. lol. Dont worry about the weight. You will see your beautiful baby boy tomorrow!

This happened to me too and I'm not sure why! I guess it's just water weight. My amniotic fluid is measuring high but I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

This is my weight progression thus far. I've lost 4 lbs. I looked at my weight chart from last pregnancy and I gained 0 until 15 weeks, then 20 lbs from week 16-26, then 30 more lbs from week 27-37, not good! No stress eating allowed this pregnancy and staying on Metformin!

    6 weeks: +3
    7 weeks: -3
    8 weeks: +1.2
    9 weeks: -1.2
    10 weeks: +1.4
    11 weeks: -4.0
    12 weeks: +3
    13 weeks: -1.8
    14 weeks: -1.8

I have been freaking out about weight gain. I gained 60 with my son, then kept gaining throughout the years. I gained about 30 with my daughter. I lost all of this weight last year and was so close to my goal weight! Now, I've gained 10lbs at 18weeks. Everything I've read has said that I should only gain 11-20lbs. It's hard to not think I'm a complete failure for this.
A big contributor to my gain is the fact that I stopped working and moved 250 miles to live with my fiance. He's not a big guy and eats sweets all of the time. Bleh!
Hovering around 200lbs is freaking me out.

Thanks, after getting hammered by my OB last week I had to lay low on sweets and carbs until my next appointment. But as soon as I get out of the drs office next Wednesday, I am making a trip to Taco Bell. LOL. I still have sweets 2-3x a day, but its more controlled. Lol

you are doing great with weight gain. you'll get it all off, I wouldn't worry. I gained 47lbs with my last pregnancy and then lost 70lbs.

I found this cool website that shows how much weight gain is due to growing baby, placenta, uterus, fluid retention, etc...during the pregnancy process. The link is below if anyone wants to check it out:
