    My name is Sarah. I'm 31 and weigh in at 187. I've lost 50 pounds so far and have been stuck in a sludge for a few months. During 2013 I want to hit my original goal weight (about 28 pounds to go). Although I will be resetting a goal after I hit that one, these mini challenges will help us get to the next step!

    My mini goal for this 50 day challenge is to increase my ater intake, log my food and close it out every day and not just log in, commit and follow through with exercise at least 4 days a week, and lose 1 pound a week.

    My goals are:

    1. Lose 15lbs
    2. Get back into planning my meals properly
    3. Finding a great exercise routine that fits with my long working hours (the commute home alone takes so much time out of the day)
    4. Feel better about myself
    5. Share my experiences with you all and hopefully help others here too!

    I am so happy I have found this challenge.

    I went to my local health centre today to get properly weighed
    and was shocked to know I was much heavier than I thought.

    * My goal is to lose 10 lbs in the next 50 days
    * Get on my treadmill at least once a day for 30 minutes
    * Stick to my diet plan and plan at least one week in advance to make sure I have the right food in.
    * Keep a honest daily diary on my blog as to how I am doing.

    I will keep reading the other postings in the group for inspiration.

    I'm hoping to use the 50 Day Challenge to really kick start my lifestyle changes. No idea what I realistically want to lose in 50 days but going to aim to run 20 mins each day, although starting at the walk/jog intervals!

    My goals for the next 50 days are:
    1) Consistency - the holidays really threw my schedule into shambles - Want to get back to going to the gym 3 days/week; Home cardio workouts 3 times/week & EVERYDAY doing a streching & ab workout.
    2) Healthy meal planning (including snacks)
    3) Organize & prioritize things in my life: office, school, workouts, family time
    4) Ultimately lose 15lbs in the 50 days!

    Since 50 days is nearly equivalent to 7 weeks, based on my personal goal of losing 2lbs a week, I will be shooting for dropping 15lbs in the next 50.

    Thought I posted my goals earlier but I don't see them so here goes:
    1. To excercise more frequently and intensely
    2. To lose at least 10 lbs.
    3. To NOT eat mindlessly! (just ate 2 oatmeal raisin cookies because they were there!)
    4. To take time for ME!!!!!!!

    I wasn't part of your first 50 days, but may I join you for the second 50? My goals would be 1) to be more consistent with exercise (thinking about changing my schedule to accomodate a morning workout), 2) to plan better for the day so I don't snack on the wrong foods at work, and 3) to lose 10-15 lbs! Please let me join! :)

    I'm generally on track but am looking for some friends and support to keep it up.

    - 14lbs
    - maintain my 3 x / week workout schedule
    - continue to wean myself off of sweets (candy, cookies, sodas are all weaknesses of mine)
    - continue to wean myself off of fast food (yep...another weakness)

    Looking forward to this challenge!

    My goal:

    1). Do cross-fit twice a week; gym 5x/week
    2). Eat healthier, drink more water
    3). Lose 5 lbs
    4). Run 5k in 30 minutes

    Sounds like everyone has some really good goals!

    In the 50 days I will:

    - Reach my goal weight (7 lbs to go!)
    - Start lifting 5-6x per week plus continue with cardio workouts
    - Clean up my diet to 90% whole foods
    - Work my way back into running after a calf muscle pull in early December.

    - looking after myself properly not giving into the easy temptations

    Hello I am Kelli Gilder. I am excited that there is a challenge group going on to encourage each other.
    1. I would like to lose in the next 50 days 10 to 15 pounds. I would love to lose more but I need to be realistic.
    2. Get healthier and feel better inside and outside by not drinking sodas, eating more fruits and vegetables
    3. Trying to stay away from eating bad carbs. I know I will eat sweets every now and then, but I hope to not give in as much as I do now.
    4. My desire is to fit in atleast four to five times a week of exercise
    5. Pray for the Lord to help me with my temptations of sodas and bad carbs and to desire healthy foods.
    6. To have more energy and to feel younger than my age which is 48 years old and to feel alive and healthy again
    So January 2nd we will start. Good luck to us all! To good health and less weight:)

    *I want to lose some more lbs!!! I would be thrilled with 6-10 more lbs. in 50 days

    - Stay in ketosis
    - Plan at least 2 dinners a week

    Thank you for creating this challenge! My goals over the next 50 daya:
    1) lose 15 pounds
    2) create a good eating routine that I can stick with
    3) workout 2-3 hrs each day regardless of how tired I am
    4) make my family learn healthy habits with me!
    5) drink more water daily
