MAJOR sugar cravings yesterday but managed to make it through and come in under goal by two calories.

My pants are fitting better already and I feel so good and light this morning. I was very tempted to weigh but I committed to stay off the scale till Saturday and I really, REALLY think not weighing daily is helping me. After I weigh all I do is obsess about it for hours, if not all day, which sometimes sends me right back to the food. It's been nice not to obsess over a number the last few days.

“We expect perfection from ourselves. We especially expect perfection when it comes to following a sensible eating plan. And when we're not perfect we come down pretty hard on ourselves. The truth, however, is that almost no one gets it perfectly right. And those that do suffer a lot of stress to get it so perfect.

This week cut yourself some slack and expect imperfection. You might give yourself the chance to do a good job even if it's not a perfect job. A job well done makes you feel satisfied. But a job well done, when you set out to do a perfect job, leaves you disappointed and feeling like a failure. Expect imperfection and expect to be more satisfied.”

Ten days in a row now without a binge, so happy! Going to keep going with this, I haven't been 10 days without a binge in quite a while.

Weird that I haven't been binging..but feel awful about myself. Focusing right now. I am happy, healthy and focused. Remembering this, I'm more than a number.

A small binge, not a large one. Disappointed I went over cals, but tomorrow is a new day.

It really does get easier! Worried about the weeked, though. I need to find something else to treat myself at the end of a long week besides food and an entire bottle of wine (Yep, that has been known to happen :ohwell: ). Everyone's progress has inspired me to keep going.

All the best this weekend, everyone! :flowerforyou:

The important part is that you stopped! I had just a tiny bit of a trigger food yesterday and that was enough to turn me psycho. I recorded how badly I felt (physically and emotionally) after eating it, and that helped me to stop eating more. Sometimes I find it's even harder to stop once I start versus not starting at all, so you should be proud!!

Managed to hang on for last 3 days, in spite of serious cravings for sugar (period due anyday).
Ate a lot before bed, but I didn't feel in binge mode. I will just eat lighter tomorrow.

Try renting/watching/buying a good tv show or a movie, or go to the cinema/movie theatre to see a film maybe...seem to be a lot of new films right now. Alternatively, if you like reading, treat yourself to a new book.
I personally want to go see Les Miserables, but got to hold on until Wednesday when I get my money in. :/

I am not disheartened. It was probably 800 cals and I'm still okay for today. I will not let this bring me down. I worked out afterwards and drank green tea I did not throw the whole day away. Tomorrow I will get back to my streak.
