Hi all,
Will be starting the 90 day program this week. Who's in? I desperately need a buddy to help me go through this.

I'm starting 1/21. I need to get a mat and a resistance band, and then I'll be good to go. I'll be your buddy, even if we are on different weeks!

    Hi,
I just got mine and I plan to start on Sunday so I can have Saturdays as my rest day. I'm so excited to get started although I'm hating the idea of taking my body measurements I plan to do this to help me gauge progress. What day are you starting? You can friend me if you like. I'm 44 years old and ultimately want to lose about my age in pounds if that makes sense.

Doesnt the kit come with a resistance band? I just got a mat this week, I've had JMBR for almost a year now. I bought it when it was first released. And yet I still haven't started :x I suck, haha.

I got the DVDs from a friend, so I had to get the mat and band separately. But I've got them now, and I'm jazzed for Monday! Can't wait until I get out of work!

I started this today! Hurrah! It was very doable and a good workout. I also hiked my dogs today for an hour - I'm planning on doing the cardio 1 tonight. I'm excited for you all to get started too.

I started today with Workout 1 Phase 1. I don't have the resistance cable yet but I'll pick one up at Target tomorrow. I used 5lbs weights, which was too easy for the chest flys but really hard for the arm raises - I will pick some 8lb weights for the chest flys but not going any lighter! Kudos to y'all who are finally popping these DVDs in.

On a somewhat unrelated note, does anyone have any recommendations on doing this in conjunction with a couch-to-5K program? I'm on Week 2 Day 2 of 5K training but have severe posterior shin splints and an appointment with an ortho in February so I'm trying to find more variety than just running - hence this program.

I plan on staring monday 1/21. I want to do the jumpstart workout but not the meal plan. Do you think it matters if I do both the workouts in the morning rather than one in the am and the other in the pm?
  • Starting tomorrow..1/21! Good Luck everyone!

Whew! Just finished Day 1, and boy, do I feel it! It's hard work, but switching between exercises keeps it interesting and makes the thirty minutes go by quickly. Can't wait for tomorrow! And good job everyone who completed Day 1!! Let's keep it going!

I am starting today! So scared! I tried her 30 day shred dvd and it kicked my butt so bad, I never wanted to do it again! But someone at work just gave me the complete body revolution set so I figure I will try it. I need to lose 60lbs! I have been on a diet my entire life and need to get to a comfortable weight. I am actually in fairly good shape as I ride horse and Zumba and lots of farm chores but the weight just won't seem to budge so maybe I need this extreme workout to get me going. I really am not concerned with a number but more going for health and how I feel which right now is awful! Looking for buddies too! Emy

Finished workout one and survived. Does anyone have the listing of what work outs when? I was given dvd's and it doesn't have a schedule in it. I would think you have to do cardio disc more that just one day a week. TIA, Emy

I just finished Cardio 1 Phase 1 (Day 3). It was really hard for me. Much harder than Days 1 and 2. I worry that only doing it twice a week for two weeks is going to make Phase 2 cardio really hard. Anyone else doubling up on workouts? I did the cardio this morning and I'm tempted to start doing both AM and PM workouts - kinda like the 7-day kickstart.

I just start Sunday and I've been doing the cardio with workouts 1 and 2. Yesterday I also went bike riding with the kids and felt nauseous in the afternoon - thought I might be getting the flu but now I think I just over-exercised. I'm going to do only one cardio today.

    Weeks 1 & 2: Disc 1, Disc 2, Cardio1, Disc 1, Disc 2, Cardio1

Those are the ones I know off the top of my head. I'll have to reference the manual when I get home to post the full rotation.

I started on Saturday, Jan 19 and I am doing the Kickstart workout plan and diet. Today I am more hungry than I was the first three days - perhaps because cardio was twice yesterday? I am literally clock watching for my 2:30 snack.

That is the correct routine for weeks 1&2: You alternate, workout 1, workout 2, cardio 1, workout 1, workout 2, cardio..... If you do the Kickstart week - then you add cardio 1 to every day. so somedays you will do cardio 1 2x a day
  • I just started on Sunday. I am NOT doing the Kickstart - mainly because I try to run (well, jog/walk, whatever C25K tells me to do) in the evening, and I only have so much extra time to give...

The Cardio just about killed me this AM. Maybe because I did it at 5:30 am - and my body didn't like doing suicides that early.

I started yesterday (monday)! This is actually my second time starting it. I, like a couple previous posters, got my set as soon as it came out. I begged my husband to buy it. ha. Then i fizzled out after 3 weeks and never had the motivation to start back up again. but this time I am 110% committed and ready for the 90 days. Time to stick with it and see the change. I did the kickstart the first time around and actually lost about 7 pounds that first week. but i am not doing the kickstart this time. i am just starting the regular program and eating healthy and smaller portions than i am used to. I am hungry most of the day but i figure after the first week or so, my body should get used to the schedule and portion sizes and it wont be so bad (hopefully).

I am excited to have a group of people starting around the same time. We can check in and maybe it will help hold me accountable.

Good Luck everyone! and good job getting started. Jillian is one tough cookie, but I want to look like the people in the video! So hard work is a must! :-)

Day 2 check in! I'm definitely feeling this second workout in my quads and abs, but I still enjoyed it. I have a feeling that will change when Jillian kicks my butt in Cardio tomorrow, though. >.<

Good job to everyone else who did it today!!

Hello everyone! I started yesterday with the Kickstart Week, and today is my Day 2. I am following the diet for this week, and have been working out just once a day yesterday and today. Actually, I am just eating dinner and getting ready to do Workout 2 in a few. I will try, however, to workout twice per day per her recommendation for at least a few days this week.

I need new friends, so feel free to add me!!!!! I am in need of motivation, because I travel for business. I have been spending the entire work week at a hotel. I work 10-12 hours per day, and finding the time and stamina to workout after I finish work around 8 pm has been a challenge. But, I am committed! We can do this!

Hello all! I'm heading home from work now to start over and do Phase 1, Workout 1. I'm a day behind some of you...but friend me if you want! (I will admit to being horrible at checking in on discussion boards!!) :o)
  • Hi there!! I started my Kickstart week on Monday, 1/21. I finished my Day 2 of the Kickstart week. Day 1 nearly killed me as I got light-headed doing both workout 1 and cardio 1. Day 2, I learned to eat 1/2 a banana before my AM workout 2 and toast with peanut butter before my PM cardio 1. I was able to keep up through the whole DVD. I'm pumped for more!:smokin:
