I started on 1/23/12 this is a restart for me I had completed phase 1 then got sick and lazy through the holidays! Thinking about trying to follow more of the diet plan this time? Are you following it or your own regimen?0
-
I also started 1/23/13. I will be happy to share the journey with you! And anyone else - send me a friend request, as I am usually not consistent in being active in the forums.0

Got up at 6am and did my Jillian today! I only burned 200 calories but I feel great! I'm not following her meal plan but I'm definitely eating clean and going to stay at or around 1200 calories.0

I am starting tomorrow!!!!!0

I am starting tomorrow!!!!!
Awesome! Keep us posted!0 -
I just ordered mine on Saturday and I cannot WAIT to get started! I wish they had express shipping! Wonder if I could drive to wherever they send it from and get it - lol. Good luck and can't wait to see how your first week goes. I've never done any JLM workouts. I did p90x last year and hoping that this isn't quite as time-consuming. I'm really looking forward to it!0

Yes! I am starting tonight too...Good luck!0
-
I just started today too!0

I started today and just finished workout 1, wohoo! Good luck everyone!0

I did some last week but didn't follow the schedule so starting this week on the schedule. I had a great weight loss last week of 5lbs so I am hoping for great results this week following the program. I am not doing the food just the workout.0
-
I will start in. I am redoing week one because I know I did not push myself the first week. Good luck to everyone on their journeys.0

Workout 2 is done! Bring it on Jillian!!!!!0

Did Cardio 1 today and wow! Great workout! I was actually able to do the "harder" version of it. Burned 260 calories and feel amazing!
How is everyone else doing??0 -
I too did cardio 1 for the first time today and was surprised at how good of a workout it was. I'm used to running and doing my elliptical and was worried it wouldn't be challenging enough but it sure was! Loving this program so far and excited to see the results!0

It looks like we started on the same day. Best of luck to you!0 -
I just started JMBR 2.0 - I got through it the first time last summer (lost 10 lbs) , now I am going through and adding higher weights, doing the "harder" versions, adding plyo to the cardio intervals. Oh yeah and doing insanity instead of Jillian's cardio DVDs. I love BR, you won't believe how strong you will get!0

waiting for the mailman now to deliver my body revolution, will be starting tomorrow0

WOW. Great job! I am on my 4th day and my muscles are sore, but in a good way! Love Miss. Jillian!0 -

Awesome! Hurry up mailman!0 -
I started on the same day. However I sprained my ankle after doing cardio 1. I still would like to continue the program. Any suggestions?0

Ice your ankle before and after and just modify the program so you can take it easier during the cardio portions of the dvds. Good luck!0 -

Did you actually sprain it or did you tweak it? If you sprained it, that is a serious injury and should be seen by a doctor. They will tell you sprains take longer to heal than breaks, and might even brace or splint your ankle or give you crutches.
If you tweaked it, then I'm sure it's probably still quite painful, but keep walking a little more each day and RICE-ing (resting, icing, compressing, and elevating) afterward. Continue this until the pain subsides. I would not recommend trying to do any of the cardio intervals when you are in actual physical pain (burning muscles doesn't count, as this is good "pain").
Alas, I'm not a doctor so do what you will. I'm just someone who has tweaked, sprained, and broken both of my ankles at least a dozen times combined.0 -

Thanks, same to you! I am sore but just finished day 4 and it went well.0 -
Just finished workout 1! Went by so fast, I was done before I knew it. Might need to get lighter weights for the shoulder stuff, 6 pounders are a bit much!0

Thanks for the advise. I think I only tweaked my ankle as I can walk normally with some pain. The icing really helped. I will follow RICE-ing and start over next week, but will be careful when doing the cardio intervals0 -
I started on jan. 28th too! I was doing the 7 day Kick-Start your metabolism plan for the first 5 days. But I mis-cooked some food, and didn't like a lot of it, so today is my first day back to just normal healthy eating. But I lost 4 lbs during those 5 days, which is both exciting and a little scary!0
-
Did you ladies weigh in today after kickstart week? I'm super excited and pumped about my results Lost 5.2 lbs and 1.4% body fat. Normally I struggle really hard to lose just 1-2 lbs. Jillian knows what she is doing!0
-
I started on Thursday 1/31 so I'm a few days behind you guys but close enough! I'm on Day 5, I'm doing the kickstart workouts, but not the diet plan. Just sticking to my normal healthy eating and restricted calories. I'm sore but it feels good! Glad to find this group to help me stay accountable0

I let my husband watch me workout today. Didn't have a choice! LOL! And I was very surprised he didn't laugh! Anyhoo I did week 2 workout 2. Then I did 1/2 hour of my elliptical until my son woke up.0

Awesome job! I did the exact workout today..week 2 workout 2 and then a half hour on my elliptical. I'm a little worried though because a week from Friday we leave on a week long cruise. I'll be missing week 4 so I'll just have to stay active on my vacation and start back where I left off when I return. I just hope I don't lose my momentum!0
