That is very cool Zach! I have an interest as well and have done a walking "ghost tour" in the historic district of the town where I live. We have alot of civil war history in this area and many of the old homes in town are said to be haunted. While I didn't witness anything myself during the tour, we talked to families who share their homes with "visitors", many of which seem to be from the civil war era. Really enjoyed all the stories and incredible old homes. Spooky stuff!

I'm Cindy. My father was born in Italy so I spent every summer in Italy with my grnadparents growing up.
I think my mother wanted to wrap me up like the Michellin Man and just call it a day most of the time.

Cindy - This first part is awesome! I'm hoping to move to Italy once the kids are grown. It's my 13yr plan right now. :) My mom gave me a box of bubble wrap for Christmas one year...said that she expected me to wrap myself every day! hahaha...

Reference the ghosts - I have lots of fun ghost stories from Hawaii, but for another day. :)

Until 3 years ago we owned a house in Pescara. It's across from Rome on the Adriatic Sea. My grnadparents lived there until they dies and looked after it for us but as we grew up, the visits became further apart. Unfortunately property laws in Italy are really bad for absentee owners so we had a lot of squatters do a lot of damage to the property so we had to sell it. I still have lots of family and friends there so whenever I go, I always have a place to stay. It's an amazing country so I highly encourage your plan!!

I've heard that about the property laws. It's really too bad that you couldn't keep the property, but great that you have friends to stay with. If my plan works out, I'd end up in Vicenza for 3 years. There are a lot of little things I'd like to do in my life, but this is the one major thing. :)

So..My name is Kerry..and for some reason I usually describe myself by describing other people in my life as though my accomplishments are unimportant..but I'll try not to do that here.
I grew up in East Coast Canada and still live here don't really want to leave other than fun travel trips.
I was always that sweet, smiling shy fat girl growing up..didn't want to make a fuss..just trying to hide in the back ground.
I loved school, I had a bunch of geeky friends growing up and was very goody 2 shoes.
I didn't know how to live life until recently.
Accomplishments..my job I am very proud that I work as a Radiation Therapist..I help people who are suffering with cancer..either to help fight it (cure) or to help ease pain..I feel useful every day. And I get to be a geek working with millions in technology and I get to tattoo people lol.
I also have managed in the last 3 years to start winning my battle with food addiction and come out of my shell. I've still got a ways to go but I am finally open to life and I'm not that shy scared girl all the time trying to hid in the background.

Oh yeah and when I was 360lbs I did the 60k walk for breast cancer with my mom..that was something I'm pretty proud of

Hi all, I'll play along. Anything to procrastinate starting my work night. haha.

I'm Dana, 31, from northeast Ohio, never married, no kids, and as I like to say, single as a slice of cheese.

I guess something fun about me is that I live almost a split personality lifestyle. Before you all shake your head, I'll explain.

The one part of me is tough, serious, almost tom boy sports editor. I've been a sports writer for 7 years and was recently promoted to sports editor. So in that respect, I oversee a staff of six guys and work in a field that is still very much a "Man's World."

Then there is the girly part of me that teaches dance 4 days a week and am obsessed with anything pink or sparkly.

The guys laugh at my desk because it has all my folders, and while they all have bobbleheads of athletes or posters of sports teams, I have my Bath and Body Works lotions and anti-back, pictures of my dancers, and about 40 trinkets here and there that are hot pink.

Oh, and I'm still sometime a 14 year old girls as I love boy bands. I'm going this summer to the New Kids on the Block/98-degrees/Boys II Men tour. Don't hate.

That's me in a nut shell. Definitely a double life haha

It's nice to read about everyone!

I'm Ashley, I'm an only child, and I grew up in Little Rock, AR. I got married at 18, a few months after that got kicked out of my mom's house because she found a stolen road sign under my bed (I was still living there because my then husband was in tech school for the Air Force), so I went to live with my dad. Months later, moved to OKC with my then husband who was active duty Air Force. I liked the comradery he had with his coworkers so I decided to join the Air Force. A few weeks before I left for BMT he threatened to hit me and kicked one of our dogs, so after I graduated BMT I filed for divorce. I worked on air planes in OKC and now I'm a tech school instructor down in Mississippi teaching students how to do computer networking shiz because I am a computer nerd. While I was in OKC I stupidly got married after a stint of alcoholism and depression. That was the worst decision of my life so far, but our divorce was finalized last April.

Now I'm with an awesome man, and we just transitioned into a LDR earlier this month. I'm separating from the Air Force this year, and I plan to get my CCNA sometime within the next couple of months and score a job on the outside with that while going to college to finish up my Bachelors.

I have two corgis and they're my favorite.

hey Zach, sweet topic. I wouldnt jump out of a plane if you paid me!! So, kudos for that. How about bunjee jumping?? Have you done that?? And as for ghosts........OMG!! I dont even watch horror movies, I'm such a scaredy cat!!

Professionally, I worked for a bank when I left school. Got made redundant and was employed in a recruitment agency for 4 years after which my Regional Manager and I set up our own business. I was 27. Had a lucrative career there but got burnt out by 37. It's a very demanding and competitive business. Decided to do something a bit more creative with my life so went back to school to study Interior Design at degree level.

I dont really consider myself an innovative designer as I'm far too practical, but I have a good eye for colour, visual imagery and spacial awareness. After a stint of design I worked Project Managing Building refurbishments. My claim to fame is managing a house build in the suburbs from start to finish employing every different trade at every stage, from foundations to rafters! When the housing market took a downturn I got into designing kitchens! And that's where I'm at now.

I've never believed in marriage (I had poor role models!) and I've never yearned for children. I guess I'm a typical 'career girl'. Always been independent and self sufficient, form my first Saturday job in a news agent at 14.

I've been in love 3 times in my life and I adore those guys still. My first love ended because we were too young and I didnt wish to settle down. My second love fell in love with cocaine more than me!! And the third wants to remain a bachelor, even though I think he's the love of my life. I think that's karma right there biting me in the *kitten*!! lol

I consider myself lucky in life but unlucky in love! :brokenheart: But I'm generally a pretty happy go lucky person with an awesome social circle of friends that talk too much, and drink too much!!....lol.

    Hi, obviously, I'm Bethany...

I grew up in the biggest little state in the union: Rhode Island. I now live in the beautiful state of Florida. I have a wonderful son (16 in 2 weeks) who is the sunshine of my life. It's been just about a year since my ex and I decided to split, but the divorce isn't final, PLEASE pray that he signs the papers like NOW!!! UGH.

Anyway, I have been GREAT in math, computers, and teaching all my life. I have fought the math aspect for the longest time, however, found myself in that line of work. I finally conceded and earned two Master's degrees, one an MBA with a concentration in Accounting and the other is a Master's of Science in Accountancy. After the divorce is final, I will continue to study for the CPA exam. I also teach / facilitate graduate level courses at a popular online university. I fully enjoy it!!! I'm also great in computers and it works well with both my accounting profession and teaching online.

I love the new lifestyle my son and I are living. It's healthy and active. I also love the compliments I am getting, although I do have to learn to accept them gracefully. I am sooooo not use to it!!!! My thoughts are that I still have a LONG way to go, so I don't see what they see. but anyway...

My name is Candy. I just turned 36. Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. Currently live in Glendale. Grew up wanting to be an actress. Got my BA in theater but by the time I graduated, I realized I like to act but hated to audition and also preferred more stability of income. Worked behind the scenes in the entertainment industry interning on a soap opera, then my first real job at a major talent agency. The hours were long and the stress was high but I did deal with most high end celebrities and enjoyed it sometimes depending on what I was doing. I just wanted to be able to have a set time that I was off so I could plan my life. You couldn't leave until your agent left, had to be on edge anticipating their every move and every whim not to mention the needs of the demanding clients. I wasted my 20's since I did not have time for a social life so it was a pretty draining place though the perks were nice. Towards the end of my four years doing that, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. I had my thyroid removed and took some radioactive iodine to further obliterate it and spent some time trying to get the right dosage of thyroid meds. I was exhausted and burned out trying to go back to my same schedule and it felt like my time was done so I left mainstream entertainment and 6 months later ended up working in Porn. (I was not a performer). I did some database updating to fulfill FBI regulations regarding documention of ages, screen names, etc. and then ended up being a production coordinator. I helped cast films, chose scenes for compilations, took naked pics of girls trying to get work and in general watched more porn than anyone has probably ever scene in addition to other administration duties. I rarely went on set though, and stayed in the office. I liked the laid back vibe of the adult industry but I saw the writing on the wall after 3+ years. Lay offs were crazy, I was doing the job of 5 people for the same pay towards the end (and I was just sick of a desk job). The issue is we made dvd's, and people were downloading porn for free on the internet. Lots of adult companies didn't make it. I ended up on a fluke signing up for massage therapy school in 2010. I am now a Certified Massage Therapist, so my income has slowly gone down over the years but having a more flexible schedule and less stress has led me to a better social life. And this year, I'm finally in a long term relationship, finding love and all that jazz and have time and energy to enjoy him and my life and I can also go to the gym and do activities that I was too tired to do in the 9-5 (7,8,9) world.

I love animals and believe strongly in rescue and spay and neuter. I have 2 kitties and one doggie who are my babies. I'm fairly organized, pretty dry and sarcastic, not very emotionally expressive. I'm an Aquarius. ;) That is me in a nutshell

Same here! Only I was diagnosed at 38. They said it had to be growing for like 5-10 years before we discovered it. It metastasized to the lymph nodes, lungs, and behind the chest wall. Had to have three doses of the I-131 treatment before it finally became inactive. Last year was the first year I didn't have to go off my meds for 6 weeks for the yearly checkup. I was sooooo happy about that! Now it's only a yearly blood test ~ WOO HOO!!! :drinker:

Candy, I bet you have quite the stories from your years in Hollywood!
Oh, and I'm still sometime a 14 year old girls as I love boy bands. I'm going this summer to the New Kids on the Block/98-degrees/Boys II Men tour. Don't hate.

I'm loving on the One Direction lately. I am a boy band fan for life. I still love N'sync so much and I'd totally pay a boatload of money to see a reunion concert.

I'm Christine, age 22, registered nurse, currently living with my parents but trying to save up money to move out into my own apartment but it's expensive and I also need to get health insurance before I move out. I work overnights and while I hate how it wrecks havoc on my life I love my nightshift crew. I lost 50 pounds in 2011, gained 25 back this past summer/fall but I am doing a weight loss challenge next month and I hope it kick starts me again. I love ice cream, and Pretty Little Liars, and I love to shop. I have a weird obsession with the TV show Disappeared even though it is sort of morbid. Favorite movie is Wedding Crashers, and I love NHL hockey - big Blackhawks fan. I am currently 100% single, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I've never flown and just saw the ocean for the first time last year!

    Gahahah. I love it!
It was really fun reading about everyone!

I'm Sam... I'm 21 but look like I'm 16. I think I'm kind of boring. I have two brothers and 2.5 cats. I have a couple of close friends, am nice to everyone I meet, but I don't keep people too close to me because I prefer solitude and doing things by myself.
Currently I go to school full-time, work as a nanny (doing laundry and cleaning as well), and I teach on Sundays. I live with my family but will be getting my own place in September when I move to finish school. I'm working on an ALA, which is totally useless but I will have it done in April. I graduated high school when I was 17, and had a really rough few years so I got a slow start on school. My Grandpa died the day I graduated high school and I found out at my graduation party... Things only got worse from there. But I'm finishing it strong with a 3.6 :). I'm now applying for Paraprofessional positions and going to get a Bachelor's in Special Education. I love kids, but I'm not sure that I will ever have or want any. I used to think I wanted to be a mom more than anything, but after being in childcare for 6 years I'm not so sure.
I love being outside, and I don't really care what I'm doing as long as I'm out there. My family has a farm in Illinois and I think it's my favorite place in the world. I love the cows. I also like baking, flea markets, laughing, board games, food, scrapbooking, and B horror movies. I laugh a lot. And when I laugh at something I think is really funny, it's usually over-the-top and I normally end up in tears. I do tend to laugh when it's inappropriate, and I have a dry (or what my dad calls dark) sense of humor. I alternate between having a lot of patience or none at all... I can't seem to find a happy medium. So I will be very sweet, or a b!tchy b!tch and you will want to stay away from me.

Something interesting? It might be kinda boring to all of you...
New Year's Eve Eve 2011, I decided that I was tired of the way I had been living, and made the decision to turn my life around. And I did just that! Gave up drinking, lost 40 pounds, and committed to taking better care of myself. I have my ups and downs, but I know that what is a bad day now is still better than what was a good day before. This year, I'm focusing on being more social, having more patience and I'm working on building a better relationship with myself. I have rules in place to help. To be more social, I make sure I say yes to AT LEAST one social outing a week. Even if it's just stopping by somewhere. As for patience, I try to allow myself two *kitten* a day. If I think more than two people are being jerks, then it's probably my attitude that's causing problems, and then I need to figure out a way to adjust it. & Loving myself... When I find something I don't like about myself, I try to find a way to make it positive. Like if I'm thinking about how I have small boobs, I'll try to tell myself that at least I know they are healthy and I don't have breast cancer or anything like that. It sounds silly, but sometimes putting it into perspective does help.

    There's my novel. The end.

Sam, you are far from boring!!

    Bethany/Showgirl - Congrats!!

Anna - ....better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. :)

And to the stadium folks - I'm hoping to one day make it to each of the baseball fields as well. :)

    Good morning everyone!

My name is Jen, my mom and dad call me Fer (maybe I couldn't hear that first part LOL!). Canadian born and raised on the canadian prairies. Yup, darn cold these days but the summers are absolutely beautiful, always something to look forward to, spring! I'm divorced once, split from a common law last year, single and absolutely loving it! Although I may try for #3, they say third time is a charm *fingers crossed* My daughter is from my first marriage, she's 14 and my twins (9) were from the second.

I take courses every few years, always have a yearning for knowledge. I earned my CAP last year (certified admin professional) designation, went to university when I was 40, lining up more courses because I need to learn!! I am currently a supervisor but I don't know if I'm cut out for it because I still have a heart of gold and haven't channeled my inner b*tch just yet.

I have no hobbies, unless driving kids to various sports is one, there I'm the chief chauffeur! I'm a FB junkie, play games mostly, words with friends, and my bejewelled blitz, yes I do not have a life LOL!

Never acted my age, really it's just a number. Love hip hop and rap and embarass my kids with my killer dubstep moves. Ok, so yes I do look like Elaine off Seinfeld, but I do try!

Well hello....... I am Nicole, or Nikki or Nic (will answer to just about anything)

I am 40 yo never married, no kids unless you count my two furry ones. I bought my own home two years ago, and pretty self sufficient. I am an only child that grew up in a small town of under 1500 people. My parents are divorced. My dad and step mom live in Mexico and my mom and step dad still live up by Lake Tahoe. I am a CA native - hate bay area sports teams. I am a Dodgers and Cowboys kinda girl. I love sports, used to swim competitively, baseball, tennis all sorts of stuff.

I am currently working on getting my life back, and looking to get out and meet some interesting people IRL for a change.

I am a sucker for paranormal stuff - love watching Ghost Adventures (helps that Zak is cute too). I currently work in a very haunted place and have heard and seen stuff here that would blow ones mind.

Anything else just ask... I have nothing to hide :)

    Hi everyone, I'm Lisa

Born and raised on the Island of St. Lucia and left when I was about 16 yrs old. It was a great place to grow up, the beaches, parties, friends and Summer months were the BEST! After my parents passed away, I lived on the Island of St. Croix for about a year with my siblings (sis & bro), then when I was 17 yrs old my younger sis (16 yrs at the time) moved to NY. It was a great experience but to fast pace for us. We ended up moving to Minnesota when I was 19 yrs and never looked back.

I have a job that I love, gets frustrating at time though. I am currently dating someone, do not want kids and enjoying my life. I sew, crotchet, embroider and speak another language. I love working out and eating healthy, but I totally hate, I mean hate shopping. I usually do that online, get in and out..lol.

Oh and Zach...I see dead people (not joking). We are very superstitious on our island and Cemeteries and old houses I never go into. I have seen things and spoken to some nice and crazy spirits and working in an old hospital, really doesnt help.
