    I would list my goals.... but expectations always trigger me to binge. When I tell myself I'll do it, I end up sabotaging myself.

    I just want to get through this month making it as balanced as I can.

    I've almost finished reading _Brain over Binge_, and I hope to post about it in our book thread soon. The author's recovery from BED ultimately took an approach that helped her to drastically reduce binging, and then eventually helped her to completely stop binging. Parts of her story & method of recovery do click with me. I've only binged one time since starting the book, and not at all since Monday in spite of several persistent urges.     My plan is to upload good days and binge days every night before sleep, so I don't have an opportunity to dig my way through the pantry!

    Still the morning...and its already a bit of a struggle.

    I just have to remember that I don't "need" food right now at this moment. I can wait at least a half hour, and hopefully the urge passes.

    In for my 3rd month doing this. Being accountable here really helped me out last month, so I am going to do this again. Last month I had two binges. Going to see about keeping it to two or less binges this month (would love to see none, but we'll see what happens). Starting the month right today. :smile:

    Nothing about this is going to be easy. And I'm proud of myself for making it through Day 1--bingeless.

    Yes Bea thank you for the book recommendation/review!!! I am going on vacation next week (Wed-Sun) so won't be on here but won't be binging for sure b/c I am with my husband and at a hotel and at the beach. BUT I am giving myself permission to enjoy and not worry about calories, etc. We haven't been on a trip for awhile. My Feb goal is no more than 3 binges.
