    This is my first post this month, and so far here is where I'm at. :happy:

    Superbowl had me worried, but escaped the night right about 1500 calories. On a day like that, it would probably be tripled that..so that means I had control, which I'm always proud of. :bigsmile:

    It's great to read about everyone's challenges and triumphs and especially about how you're not letting one or two (or even more) days set a pattern for you. It's so encouraging!!

    Yeah that'd be nice if we all lived closer ^-^
    Do you have any OA meetings close to you? The support might help =)

    I went to OA once when I lived in a different city. Found that it wasn't for me. But maybe I just need a different meeting. Weight Watchers meetings seem to be helping, even though it's not quite the same. Sometimes I get overwhelmed at all the information at WW meetings and the negative voices in my head tell me that I'm not as good as the rest of the people there. But if I stay positive and take all the info with a grain of salt, it actually really helps. And I am down 2.6 pounds this week :happy:

    I treated myself to a digital food scale. Kinda helps to see that in the kitchen. When I walk in, it reminds me that I have to be mindful of my food portions, and that there is no bingeing going on in MY kitchen. Take that, stupid binge urges.

    I overate yesterday but was hungry. I became overly stressed that I ignored all of my healthy habits. I missed spin due to a meeting and it tumbled from there. I'm going to look at sun/mon as motivation to why I'm focusing on a protein diet. I feel so much better that way.

    The Binge: .5 The reason for the .5 is that I did eat more than I should have (by about 1,200) but it wasn't nearly as bad as I usually binge and it didn't feel like a binge. I wasn't stuffing my face at warp speed. It was like I just felt like eating this or that so did. But still, it was sorta a binge.

    I over-ate so much this weekend and actually binged (I didn't log it all because it was bad) on Friday. It'd been almost a whole month since I had binged last. Ugh, and it's so hard to get back on track after a couple of bad days, but I'm trying.

    I've been getting on my own nerves with overeating/binge eating, didn't even think to use the 'community message boards until now (after I have just binged and really don't know why :0/ )

    I am like a lot of you folk and do comfort eat, and also I have trigger foods.

    thank you for this challenge I think it's great idea gives something to aim towards.

    I experienced SO much anxiety at the time, I had a teary, but I confessed my sins to my partner and my MFP friends, they both helped. I moved past it, I brushed my teeth, showered, gave my partner the massage I promised him as it was his birthday and I went to BED. CRISIS AVERTED!

    I realised this food group is a trigger for me and I thought I could reward myself for having completed a one month challenge of cutting it out, but the restricting led to a binge.
    I don't think I am ready to allow myself this food. I cannot control myself, but this was a slip NOT A FALL.

    I used to allow one binge turn into a month of bad eating, that is my choice, my decision. Today I choose to accept my fall from grace and learn from it.
    I am a better & stronger person than I was when I began this journey, there's no turning back!

    I hope I can join! I am in need of this. Had a small binge yesterday (I did work off the extra calories but I still did binge)
    I will try some more distractions. Also, I watched a cooking show that may have caused it!!
