It was great to have moderation this past week. I kept under my calories and I doubled up on my exercise each day, so that I didn't have to exercise excessively on accountability day. I then showed a 3.75 pound loss. This was great after three weeks of plateauing. Patience is a real necessity in this binge contest. I'm glad I didn't give up when my weight kept staying the same.
Tonight, I had a strong urge for a particular snack. I tried to see if I could make myself wait for it for tomorrow, but I didn't think I could. So I looked at what food I had left on my plan and I deleted it in order to add the snack calories. Then, I realized that if I so strongly "needed" this snack, I better not eat it too early in the evening. So I exercised a half hour longer than planned and sat at my computer to do some tasks for work that I didn't feel like doing. Now my snack will feel like a reward instead of a step down the slippery slope.0 -

A good weekend for me so far!! Hubby is traveling out of town. I have been over on sodium but still eating in my calorie limits etc.

Glad everyone is doing so well and it's really nice to read how different people find ways to beat the binge.
I had a binge yesterday and I'm not happy with myself. I have been struggling for the last week and this is the second one in that time.
I really have to find a way to shut up the self-criticism that keeps feeding this binge monster!
