I am up 1 pound at 15 (almost 16 weeks) however I went into this pregnancy with 20 extra pounds so I am trying to eat lots of healthy, whole, natural foods and it is working. Last pregnancy I ate way too many carbs and gains 40lbs so I am trying not to repeat that!!! I expect that the scale will jump someday soon but for right now I am happy with my weight gain.

Im 29 weeks today and im up about 25-26 pounds.... Im working out, and watching my calories and for the most part doing good I think, but that scale just keeps going up! Its rather frusterating, you work so hard to get the pounds off and they pile back on like nothing!
I am quickly approching that 200 number again and its making me feel like a huge failure.... Im having issues enjoying this pregnancy because of the fast weight gain I was hoping to avoid!

I feel you. Just came back from my 26 week glucose screening (nervously awaiting results) and I'm up 28lbs. I know this is getting to me because I'm almost back to where I started when I joined MFP. I brought in a record of what I've been eating for my midwife to look over and she said to cut down on carbs and up my protein. I know she's right, but I can't help but feel that I'm going to screw everything up by gaining too much weight.
She said she wants me to maintain for the next 14 weeks. I still have not been able to exactly figure out how to do that. My body went from losing weight and being incredibly active, to feeling nauseated for 3 months and eating was the only thing that made me feel better. I have gotten back on the exercise wagon, but it's getting harder everyday. I mean, I know everyday tasks can become challenging in my state, but is it normal to break a sweat putting socks on. F&%$!!!
I know I don't have my caloric intake dialed in correctly yet for maintenance, plus pregnancy is confusing this number too. I am just having a down day. Sorry to whine.

So...4.4 lbs up in 1.5 weeks is not my idea of cool...my doc told me to only gain 4 in the next month! I'm hoping it's just too much sodium, which I'm really going to watch...can't keep up these big jumps in weight!

Just drink a TON of water for the next few days....it will really help with the swelling. Certain things (like Mexican or Chinese food) can affect me for 3 days....the only thing that helps is water or just completely avoiding those things. I can eat a burrito and gain 3 lbs lol....even though the calories/fat aren't too bad for what I order, I looked it up online and the sodium was through the roof....

up 18 lbs at 33 weeks.....

this is encouraging! i am at week 23 and am seeing my first +2lb gain. I was getting scared! but its a good reminder that it doesn't mean I have to gain +2lb every week from here on out! that would not be good for me! great work so far, you are doing really well. I think we are right on the same weight gain schedule. we can do this!

Gained 30 pounds @ 37 weeks, but have only gained 2 pounds in the last month. This is all I will have gained because I am being induced tomorrow night. Yay!

I know what you mean, it's scary to see 2lb jump on every week for a bit.. but really last pregnancy I did gain it during these weeks and then it was down to .5 lb to 1lb per week again and total I gained 23lb. I'm still have my settings at maintenance in MFP but I'm eating more on quite a few days lol.. just listening to my body. Right now is when baby is growing I figure :)

I am having huge issues with this weight gain today! The scale just keeps climbing no matter what I do... I cant figure it out!
Maybe its cause im not as active as I used to be! But im just so tired! Have stuff going on it life that has me super down and depressed... not enjoying being prego at the moment thats forsure!
Im 30 weeks and am up 26-27 pounds! But thats 4 pounds in the past three weeks even!
I guess all I can do is keep eating good, and just get on losing it after baby comes!

@boardergurl hang in there!! You're doing great!! It's going to be ok!! You've only got 10 weeks left which means if you gain a pound a week for the remainder you're still only a couple pounds over the recommended gain of 25 - 35 lbs...ANDD a lot of times in the last few weeks you'll either stop gaining weight or even lose a few pounds. Even if you gained 50lbs (which you wont) you would be able to lose it postpartum anyway. Try not to stress and ENJOY! You're in the home stretch!

When I weighed in at 17 weeks I had gained 7 pounds. Two weeks later at my 19 week ultrasound, I was at 15 pounds!! Lol, I thought I was doing good before that! I'm hoping it was just water weight maybe?! 8 pounds in 2 weeks was not was I was aiming for! I just hope I don't keep rapid gaining like that-- I'm supposed to gain 20 max!

wednesday weigh in! 6 months pregnant today!

    starting: 114 lbs 5'2''
    cumulative gain:
    10 weeks: - 1.0 lbs
    11 weeks: - 0.5 lbs
    13 weeks: + 0.0 lbs
    14 weeks: + 0.5 lbs
    15 weeks: + 2.5 lbs
    16 weeks: + 3.0 lbs
    17 weeks: + 3.5 lbs
    18 weeks: + 3.0 lbs
    19 weeks: + 4.0 lbs
    20 weeks: + 4.5 lbs
    21 weeks: + 5.0 lbs
    22 weeks: + 6.0 lbs
    23 weeks: + 7.0 lbs
    24 weeks: + 7.0 lbs (currently 121 lbs)

super surprised to see no gain as of this morning. earlier this week I stepped on the scale and was up +2lb. So I drank a TON more water and cut way back on sodium... apparently that helped flush things out? we will see if if it all evens out next week.

this weight gain has been much harder on me than my other two pregnancies. I gained 52 lbs with my first and 49 with my second, but did not seem to care. Family issues have made me notice every pound on the scale. It stinks because I just want to be happy and enjoy being prego... But that is not happening.
I started this pregnancy off 8lbs heaver than my last. which was a huge bummer for me.( I did get pregnant 5 months after my last was born.)

    Sept- 138
    Oct- 143
    Nov-141
    Dec-143
    Jan-148
    Feb-157
    March-162
    April(week 31)-164

I am really trying to keep the water weight off by drinking a ton of water and trying to eat less salt. We will see how it goes. Only 8 weeks then the hard work begins:)
