April 10th Challenge.
I will post my meal on the challenge pst and I did 2.5 miles on eliptical Plus 100 crunches, side bends and oblique crunches0 -
Here is a summary of my first 10 days.
April 1 - 100 counter pushups
April 2 - 100 crunches – Bonus 50 crunches
April 3 - 100 squats
April 4 - Under calories and walked 5.3 miles
April 5 - Walked 5.9 miles today. Bonus 100 jumping jacks
April 6 - Missed
April 7 - 100 burpees
April 8 - 10 planks
April 9 - Missed
April 10 - For Dinner – Wild Salmon - Sweet potato fries– Broccoli. This is easy to make. I bake the Salmon and Sweet potato and Steam the broccoli. Broccoli has fibre, vitamins and iron. Salmon high in protein, omega-3, vitamins. Fries taste good.
Bonus – Walked over 2 miles already.
April 1 - 216.1 lbs
April 8 - 212.8 lbs

April 2 - 100 crunches + bonus 50 crunches
April 3 - 50burpees then 30min(5miles) on bike due to knee issues, 4-30sec planks 25 crunches and raised 25push ups.
April 4 - Under calories + bonus walked 5.3 miles
April 5 - Walk 5miles + bonus 100 jumping jacks
April 6 - posted challenge of 'paying it forward' + 25 oblique crunches
April 7 - 100 burpees
April 8 - 10 planks + 5 bonus planks
April 9 - not able to complete
April 1 - weight - 163lbs
April 8 - weight 160.2lbs0 -
April 9 challenge - Completed 50 lunges (sorry I couldn't make it to 100, those things kill my knees!)
April 10 challenge - For lunch I made tuna salad with crackers. Tuna is quite healthy with moderation as it provides good protein and some of those heart healthy Omegas. Used a small amount low-calorie mayo and some whole grain crackers.
Edit to add - I will try to get some mileage in on my bike tonight after I pick up my wedding dress from the alterations lady.0 -
I will post my healthy meal on the post and I got in 2 miles walking today for the bonus. Hope to get on the recumbant still tonight if the teens allow me some ME time amongst their drama! Sigh...0

finally able to get on my computer to report for yesterdays challenge (sorry so late).
did the 100 lunges. no extras though.
already know what i'll be making for dinner so will just tell you now in case tomorrow goes the same way as today...
grilled chicken thighs in a teryaki/asian marinade (high in sodium, i know), quinoa with veggies. my mouth is watering just thinking about this...0 -

unfortunately won't be able to get in the walk/run (or bike or swim). softball practice right after work and then the batting cage. it's currently raining pretty good (rain?? in the pacific nw?? imagine that!) and i just DON'T DO walking/running in the rain as it takes waaay to long to straighten my hair to have it get drenched. lol sorry.

Ok so I asked for an alternative for Saturday and completed. Push ups instead of curls. I did the 50 plus added 50 for the bonus0

Today was my weight lifting day so I did 208 curls all together, thats: curls, reverse curls,lying simultaneous flat bench curls and lying alternate flat-benched hammer curls. I used 5#, 8# and 10 # weights.0 -
Hello crew, sorry I have been MIA for a bit. I was not feeling well and I have been working on my final project for grad school (I finish in 7 weeks!!), but I will let you know that I have busted my you know what this week and I will be here the best I can for you guys. I am on every day, just have not completed all of the challenges. You guys are doing great and I am so very proud of every single on of you. We are a strong team and it shows. We are halfway through this challenge and I know that as a team and individually we will finish stronger than we started.
I completed 75 bicep curls with a 15lb weight for todays challenge.....I used to use a 20lb weight almost two years ago and I am glad to know that my strength has no completely dissipated on me
So keep me informed on the completion of the challenge here and I will update the Don.

Sunday's challenge completed. Posted my motivation on the discussion and did my crunches. Ready to kick it tomorrow. Still not sure about the weigh in. LOL...As long as it does not go up, Im not complaining.0
