My real goal is to get back into better shape and toned. I used to be a very active athlete but it fell by the wayside in college. I want my body back! So it's more of a non scale goal but it's nice to have a number to shoot for.
I've never been much an endurance person but I signed up for my first 5K in June and started the Zombies, run! app this weekend. Sad to say I would have died in the apocalypse but I'm working on it!

I'm new to this group, and I'd love some help and encouragement getting my last bit of weight off and becoming more fit. I'm a grad student so my schedule can be stressful/hectic!

No kids, work out strenuously 5 days/week. I haven't gotten my BF done in a while but plan to. I'm mostly interested in that number going down and toning up. Would love to talk to anyone who's my age/size or was my size who's had success. The whole TDEE process is a bit intimidating so I'd be happy to chat with someone who's got it all figured out!

I have a very small frame but with broad shoulders (need them to hold up the girls!). When I gain weight it's quite obvious, esp. in my upper body and belly. I've had 3 babies, but for the most part bounced back from my pregnancies just fine each time. The past few years I've yo-yo'd and I'm sick of it. Ready to figure this out for good! When I stopped tracking my food and stopped exercising regularly this past fall/winter, the pounds really came back. Last summer I was actually happy in a bikini on the beach at 115lbs. Need to get back there for our Sunday Beachdays!

Wow I have a similar build broad shoulders but small waist ppl can't tell i've lost weight until i get into the 120's again because my chest is so big I'm DDD (i know it's sad) but my waist is 29.5 and i'm 134 5'2. I'd love to be 115!0 -

I'm focusing a lot on strength training and running. I love lifting weights and doing 5k's! I'm shooting to do a half marathon in the fall. I'm also VERY pear shaped! (35-28-42 right now, I think)
Also, I don't weigh myself anymore (Not good for someone who was teetering on the edge of an ED!), but rather focus on my health, feeling strong and making good eating choices. I run as often as I can (I have a few 5K under my belt), do yoga (I love hot yoga!) and hike. I just had sinus surgery and I can't wait to get the surgeon's ok to get back on track. For now I check my calorie intake and try to keep it under 1200 daily.
