Anybody starting INSANITY on 15th july?

Hi,
I am starting Insanity program on or around 15th July. I had started it in January but quit is 3 weeks as my knees kept getting painful with each workout. I had to stop doing this completely when I reached a point of not being able to walk.
This time I plan to do it with different shoes as suggested in some of the blogs here, as to be one of the causes for bad knee during insanity

I started on Monday so I'm not ahead of you by much. This is my second (third) time trying it so hopefully I can finish the 60 days!0

Im starting on the 15th. This will be my 3rd attempt, my last time i made it to the 5th week and took ill. My goal this time round is to conquer the full 60 days... If you want to help support each other let me know! Nothing better than a support team0

MAJOR DOMS my legs and calves are crazy sore :grumble: I am going to try "starting again" in a couple days even I can't finish the whole workout. I don't have any NSAIDS to help with the doms or money to buy any0

I'll be starting the last month tomorrow! I started on a saturday initially because I didn't know how my crohns would handle all the exercise - it seems okay so far though!
The recovery week didn't feel too much like a recovery period but it's all good haha! This is my first attempt and I haven't missed a workout in the first 5 weeks so it's going okay...I am scared of the last month though!0 -

Hun... everyone is sore in some way when starting Insanity or any other workout for that matter if they are not use to it. You are moving and using parts that don't normal move that way. Advil will help and it's pretty cheap! Try drinking chocolate milk after your workout, it can help replenish exhausted muscles and significantly aid exercise recovery. As for not finishing the entire workout... don't worry about that as long as you keep trying, eventually you will complete it!0 -

currently I've been doing insanity and asylum on and off. As of last monday I hurt my knee as well and from then I've been slowly recovering. I'll try a Insanity workout tomorrow morning.0 -

I started Sunday!!This is my second attempt. I made it through weeks 1 and 2 and didn't stick with it. I'm hoping to push through this time! Finished pure cardio tonight. the sweat was dripping off my face! Ahh!! Good luck all!0

i am going to re start for my fifth time tomorrow i keep giving up because when i get to week three or four i get discouraged and lazy i cant seem to push my self i need help. im starting tomorrow with a broken finger so im afraid i wont be able to push like i want to. i might wait till thursday to start so that i can buy a sports bra but i dont want to not start on a tuesday due to the schedule .0

Started with Fit Test Yesterday Evening 15th and Completed workout 1 this morning.
I am 10 a day smoker and way around 16st.
I have nearly thrown up this morning but managed to keep it down.
I need to push to get through the lot and I already don't want to smoke any more.
Any any inspiration welcome and I will post here most mornings to provide moral support if needed.0 -
I started on the 15th! Today's workout kicked my butt. I was ready to rest during the warm-up! Still, I dug deeper and am hoping to stick with it for the whole program.0

My gym membership ran out and I was looking at joining another. In the meantime, my girlfriend and I just started INSANITY on the 15th as well. It's kicking my *kitten*. haha0

Hi there, I did 17 days then became ill so have had over a week off. Because of that I plan to start again in a couple of days. I found a few friends who are going to start it too which is great as we can stay motivated better as a group.

Insanity Day 3 - Completed whole video.
Legs hurt this morning, thigh, calf and quads. Did a bit of research and decided to crack on and push through.
I got through the whole video but could not complete every set of exercises.

Hi All,
I started Insanity on the 15th too, iv'e got my 3rd workout today when i get home from work
feeling it a little today to be honest, day 2 def took it out of me, got through it but had to stop a couple of times!
Saying that though im using Maxifuel recovery max, i feel alot better than i thought i did and yeh my muscles are achin but not as much as they were yesterday!
good to know other people are starting on the same day and know how this feels lol!

I just started on the 15th too! I finished a round of P90X had to take 6 weeks off because of surgery on my shoulder area but am back at it! Feel more than free to add me!!0

I started Tuesday because I got the DVDs Tuesday. I am already thinking of doubling up one day so I can be on track as if I started Monday the 15th. Feel free to add me.0

I started on July 8th so I'm close. It's been tough but totally worth it! I did the Plyo Cardio today for the 3rd time and can already see a difference in the amount I am able to do. So happy tomorrow is cardio recovery! I'm excited for next Monday for the 2nd fit test so I can see if I've made any progress.

Looks like I'm taking a few days off. I pulled or strained my left gluteal muscle and it is a very sharp pain, even when walking. I noticed it being a little sore and cramped after the 3rd day, and I should have listened to my body. Now I'm going to be resting for several days to ensure it heals. Crud.
I really hate that this program does not stretch until 10 minutes in to the workout, and also that he doesnt address some of the muscle groups used in the stretching. Still going to carry on once I'm all healed up and will be stretching on my own before hand from now on.
EDIT: KEEP GOING STRONG EVERYONE! AND DONT SKIMP ON THE STRETCHES! haha0
