I exceeded my goal for August. Yay! First time in my life ever to have made it.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds per month, (under doctor supervision currently to avoid surgery for weight loss), so I hope September is a repeat of August! We will all be dieting through the Holidays.

THIS MORNING....315! I hit 60 pounds down on my 60th day of logging!
The other numbers on the bodyfat analysis were a bit...odd...it showed a massive upswing in total body water and a massive downswing in fat mass--however, I am not convinced this is the actual case. (See: Trending)
But weight loss is weight loss, and I FEEL WONDERFUL!
Thank you to EVERYBODY in our group...but an extra shout out to our little inner circle of regular posters and players who make this adventure more fun than I could ever have imagined. (You know who you are...)

I'm unsure why the number is so high! I'm happy but a little worried. I have just gotten back into the diet and exercise thing seriously so maybe my body is just in shock and I hope that once I get used to things, the weight loss will go down to normal levels. But I have definitely not been starving myself and this is with practically no exercise. Please check out my diary and let me know what you guys and girls think...0 -

Bird: it is common for your to have a big jump start if it continues you should check in with your doctor but I think initially it is acceptable! When you change your eating habits your body cleanses itself and dumps the junk! Your doing great keep it up!0

I didn't quite reach my goal, but 11 pounds is 11 pounds. My big mistake was basing my goal on last month's performance, where I had "first month" weight loss going for me. I will set a difficult, but more realistic goal for next month, and then I will reach that goal.
