    Wow, Jackie, that's an awesome loss!!!

    Thank you all for your beautiful words!! I cheated on the weigh in, meaning that I did step on the scale today (I usually weight myself saturday mornings), but if the scale is correct, this week is going to be another good one... Can't wait for tomorrow to finally arrive!!

    Good week. I need to step up my game if I want to get to 215 by the end of the month. I'm glad I passed de 220 mark, because de 230 was a difficult one, and I really didn't want to go through all that stress again.

    My birthday is on monday and I have two birthdays parties. What am I going to do??? LOL Already asked my trainer what he recommends, I want to enjoy my birthday, but don't want to mess up my progress... decisions, decisions!!

    Jess, keep getting back into it. The gym is going to make such a difference!

    Ignaura - Great loss, as for the birthday, well, look at it this way: Your body doesn't care how you get to the calorie deficit. One day off isn't going to break you. Log every little bit of cake and goody you have, accept it, and then work your program hard the rest of the week. you will be fine!

    Oh, and if anyone needs a boost: I'd say we are on our way to beating last months loss. So far we have posted a group loss of......83.1 pounds in less than 3 weeks this month. Twelve days left in the month, we can do this!

    Oh, and if you are friends with some of those who posted early this month, but haven't checked back in. Consider giving them a nudge. :wink:

    Even slow progress is better than no progress right? I can tell I have lost inches, even my shoes are fitting better! This time of year I feel so overwhelmed. MFP has been a blessing.     ChasingKate - After losses like you have had, this may just be a minor bounce, OR if this was this weekend it could just be the salt from the pizza... Those 13+ miles of walking will usually win! Way to go, and good job on posting a minor gain.

    BTL - Your picture shows the hard work you have been doing. A one pound loss a week is more in the normal range. The fact you lost 46 lbs so quickly before this was amazing! You may return to supra-normal soon, your workouts are really impressive!

    If I were to guess from looking at your diary, I bet if you reign in your salt, up your water, and get your sleep, everything will go the way you want.

    This is getting to be a long post but I had to go back and just say, i think over ambitious goals tend to get me often! I know I can do 10 lbs in a month... But any thing down is a good move! I really need to keep reality checking myself! And I love the changed picture Russ, it's so true! I do need to be honest with myself and I feel really good I have seen a lot of changes in myself! This is a long journey and I am not giving up any time soon! 75 days in and even when I mess up I keep going!

    Thanks Mark :-) I'm not despairing - I'm just irritated with myself a bit. I know I need to reign in my sodium really badly. I'm trying, but it's a work in progress. I do drink about a gallon of water a day, so there's that - I just don't log all of it after 8 or so glasses lol.

    Thank you for being so encouraging! I'm not giving up, not even close, just need to get under control.

    It can be discouraged, but everything can be fixed.
    I looked at your diary and I would recommend you lower on the salt, it makes you retain water and weight more (sucks every time. been there, not nice at all). I also think you are eating too much processed foods, that might be have fewer calories but won;t make you feel as full, are high in sodium and sugar and have no fiber.

    Try to add more veggies, chicken, fish and lean meats, and good fats such as olive oil and butter. These food might be calorie dense, but are also nutrients dense, so they make you feel full for longer, and you will be getting all the micronutrients you don't get from processed foods.

    Keep it up, girl, you can do this!!

    I just found out my normal BMI weight is 125-165. ( I just wrote 225-265 and had to change it. NOT used to such small numbers.) I'm thrilled at the idea finding out what "no extra weight" would be like. My DH not so much. He's very supportive but would like me at the top of the range. Never did understand how he could find me attractive, but he does. :blushing:
