measurments

the scale is not the only way of tracking progress.. thought it would be cool to track measurements so we could still see the difference.

feel free to add yours here.. i have to find my tape.. princess my cat.. thinks everything is hers to play with and took it from my desk. lol

    Those were my measurements as of 1/17/14. I will be checking them again on Friday. I admit I was a bit nervous about posting this. It feels more personal than my actual weight number, but I feel the need to be honest with those I'm asking to help support me.

    on 1/12/14 the measurements were:
    Neck: 16 "
    Chest: 54 "
    Arms: 19 "
    Waist: 56. 5
    Hips: 59 "
    Thighs: 35 "

    Which means I've lost quite a few inches over all in one week. I'm hoping this week my hips will have shrunk a bit along with my thighs. Then again I do a lot with my legs so it may take a bit for them to go down. We'll see.

    I will be posing my measurements soon as well once i find my tape. lol Inches are sometimes even better then weight but i cant get past the scale at all.

    I know what you mean and it can play dirty with us at times! I am trying to focus on the inches, but the scale is like crack because it is everything all the models are based on.

    under gut 44.5 ( I have an apron stomach)
    under bust 38
    right arm 19
    Left arm 18

    soon as I find the tape measure I will take new measurements
    I was 221 on 1/6
    Im now 211

    Jenn: I hear ya. My weight is bouncing right now due to TOM, but I'll be focusing on the measuring tape over the scale for the next 10 days as my body does its crazy thing for awhile. Great job on all of the positive changes! You're doing wonderful.

    Thank you ladies!!!! I was trying on a old pair of size 10 pants that I had from years ago that I haven't been able to wear in years and this morning they fit!!!! and aren't' even tight :bigsmile: I was so happy I started laughing and crying

    Upper Thighs: Left - 28, Right - 28
    Lower Thighs (above knees): Left - 20, Right - 19
    Calves: Left - 16, Right - 15.6
    Upper Arms: Left - 14.5, Right - 15
    Lower Arms (above elbows): Left - 11, Right - 10.7


    I'll measure myself on 3rd Feb now. Hope to see some changes!

    I never know where to measure on the stomach and arms and thighs. There are so many places where exactly do you measure?
