Not sure what happened in January:sad: , just trying to learn from it - that one day 'off' for Christmas really has the potential for lasting impact... I'm changing things for Feb, moving on to Les Mills BodyCombat workouts and following the nutrition guide that comes with it - which means 1800 cals per day but no extra cals from workouts, and a more guided approach on when to eat/how much to eat of protein, carbs, fruit etc. So we'll see if that has some impact next week.
Now I have 'fessed up - want to see all the US peeps confess their superbowl sinning :laugh: :laugh:

Not much of a change. It's been pretty slow goin' for the past few weeks. I think I could stand to lower my calorie intake (I'm eating around 1500, which is high for my weight/stature at this point (last ten lbs), but I'm also still nursing my kiddo before/after naps and bedtime, so I don't want to go too low. Maybe I'll play around with the numbers this week and see what I can do to shed these last few pounds in a timely manor!0 -
Well finally! The scale gave me a break this week (-4) as it was not giving me credit for losses in the past couple weeks. I knew I was losing weight because when I was weighing myself after runs (max dehydration level) I was consistently getting lower but then on Monday the loss was not reflected. At any rate, I'm still not at a 2lb/week rate, still need some work on intake control. I've been really working on the calorie burn side of the equation, it's clear that one needs to work both sides of the equation in order to get a good loss each week.
All in all, my Super Bowl worked out better than Denver's. (Yikes!)0 -

That was my weight last Thursday, lowest of the week (I won't even mention what this morning's weight was!).
I'm getting a little depressed because I am meeting my calorie goals, but my weight is just not moving. I think I need to tighten up with the weighing of foods and make sure my logging is spot on. I also changed my calorie goal to 1 pound a week at sedentary. Then I use my fitbit calories that get added throughout the day. It's good motivation to move more because 1200 calories is SO low! I'm really hoping for 3-4 pounds in February.0 -

No loss again this week. I wish I could have some of Mule's burns :laugh: , he's burnin' down the house!!! I spent Friday and Saturday swinging a sledge hammer. My arms were so sore, I almost couldn't get my fork to my mouth. I worked thru the pain and managed to eat plenty. Yesterday, I spent several hours putting a new elliptical/bike combo together. I hope the new exercise will inspire me to lose. Can't wait for next weeks weigh in,0 -
