I also use my Fitbit total for miles - I just factor that in when deciding my goal. I have a desk job so I don't get very many steps unless I intentionally get up and move. Also because I'm short, I need to walk about 2500 steps for Fitbit to give me credit for 1 mile (average is 2000 steps = 1 mile). I'll go on walks on break or at lunch where I have no idea how many miles I'm walking.
2/1 I went 10.44 miles. 7.5 of that was running (per GPS - not sure what Fitbit estimated that as). I did warm-up & cool-down walks where I didn't track distance. The rest was incidental.

Walked 3.5 yesterday, and ran 4 miles this morning.
I thought I was doing a pretty good time this morning... :bigsmile: What a disappointment when I got back home.But it's OK. Speed intervals and PB aren't 'winter events' in Qc, Canada, especially the day after a snowstorm that left a foot of snow on the ground... The roads weren't great, and it was hard to get a good grip, even with the Yaktrax. :noway:
But IT WAS beautiful outside! :flowerforyou:
