Quick post but ....
I feel SO FRICKIN AWESOME!!!!!!
I ROCKED the treadmill tonight...I had the incline on 3 and at times RAN (NOT WOGGED!!!) at almost 4...I think my highest was maybe 3.6 or so...but only for a minute or 2 but STILL!!! so I alternated jogging/running and walking for a little over 2 miles and then I did a FAST 3+ miles on the bike right after...AND it was on Level 11.
I REALLY DO FEEL AWESOME!! LIke I want to do a WORKOUT VIDEO right now! LOL. I'm not though!!! HAHAHHAHAH.

SADIE! Sorry to hear about your weird experience last night....that sounds like a fever but if you are not sick then who the hell knows? If it happens again I would go get checked out Girl!0 -
Sadie, I hope it isn't something your coming down with. lets just hope it was some weird thing of being hot and cold haha, Keep up the planning of food and walking, your doing fantactic
Star you should always be very proud of your self, we all should. look at what we are doing? we all have lost weight and starting to care more about our selves. don't give up and 3.6 is super hard, I was at 3.2 but for like 45 secs lol I am still walking at 3.0 but working my way up, you really are awesome.
today I slept in so I missed my body pump class ahh. now I need to do some weights to make up for it. also I'm kind of getting sick of walking haha but I'm going to do it. and I have my core class tonight which I sweat my butt off in that class
I did start a new post for april, try and change it up. I'm looking for some challenges we can do each week, I think it will be a nice change.0 -

I'll go read the April thread and put some goals down. I can't let this slip ruin all my progress! So I'm in for more accountability and exercising with my friends!
I'm not sick today, so all that cold/hot weirdness is just that, weirdness! LOL I must have been fighting a fever or something....

@Skittles: Yah...and I DO feel proud! I don't know what the heck got into me!! I have NEVER run as fast as 3.6 and ESPECIALLY not with the incline at 3!!! That was HARD! I've done a "brisk walk" as fast as like 3.3 but I was actually RUNNING...like picking up my legs and pumping my arms! hahahhaha! People were probably like that fat girl is going to break the machine!!! LOL. )
@Sadie: How are you doing?? Do you still feel like you are hanging on by a thread with your eating/exercising?
Soooo...I'm going to not workout tonight...but I have an outdoor bike ride on Saturday with some friends, I HAVE to get an hour swim in either Saturday or Sunday and I'm going to TRY to get another run in. But for right now I'm just committing to the biking and the swim.0 -
we are all doing so amazing, yesterday I had a bad (thinking day) I'm glad I didn't turn to food but today my goal is to think positive, I know we have bad food days, but we also have bad thinking days and we need to change our way of thinking as well because look at what have done. we are working out, walking, running doing videos, jumping jacks :grumble: haha and so much more. I am so thankful to have you guys here with me helping me every step of the way.:flowerforyou:
I'm off to hang out with some friends to do some shopping and go to a home and garden show so lots of walking around today. my goal is to get in 15k in steps and I will meet my goal:happy:

I'm on the wagon. Groceries are done, healthy food eaten and planned and exercise done. Doing laundry and chores now. :-)

thanks Sadie, I was just mad that she didn't need the surgery and even told people she was getting it because she didn't want to work out. as well the 6 months she had to wait she over ate because she said she didn't care how much she gained because she would lose it with the surgery. ahh but I'm going to keep doing what I am doing.
today I ate two bagels nothing else and haven't worked out, just feeling lazy today. but my goal is to make a great dinner and still be under. and I will do some arm weights.0 -

YAAAAYYY SADIE!!!! Glad you are back on the wagon!!! Sometimes we fall off and are running along side the wagon trying to get back on ....but it's HARD!!! Glad you made it up! LOL.

So, I had a little run in with some shortbread cookies yesterday but I'm all good! LOL. Also...SO BUMMED our bike ride got rained out yesterday! I mean it was POURING DOWN RAINING. Good for my garden (I put in Kale, carrots and garlic...and I have some cilantro and tomatoes that popped back up from last year's garden).
Today I did a little over 3 mile walk. I actually added in some jogging and I was REALLY HAPPY at how it felt to run outside! I normally wear all kinds of support gear when I jog and today I had none of it b/c I wasn't really planning on running...even without the support I felt REALLY comfortable and light on my feet!!! I actually worked on JOGGING and NOT wogging. LOL. YAAAYYYY!!!
Tomorrow I have the day off so I will get my swim in!0 -
You guys are the best. I just can not say it enough. we all get into our (bad) days but I know when I come here I hear the truth and I get picked back up. today I am going for a nice walk. today and I have zumba which I always love and I have body pump today.
Star sorry about the bike ride, but the walking was nice. and I love your word wogging haha I had a lot to decide with the C25K and I really want to start jogging. I do it a bit in a few of my classes not a lot, I went around our basketball court doing a very light jog. but I am doing a 5k race june 7h and I want to jog some of it not just walk. I also have a 5k race april 12th but I will be walking only for that one. so today I'm doing to start my training. so i won't be running just jogging.0 -
Star, every time you talk about your weather I'm jealous, and now garden talk!!!???!!! It's just not right. LOL sounds like you had an awesome run! yipee!!! Sorry about getting rained out on the bike though.
Skittles, you are so right. We've got a good group going here. :-) I hope you ate more then 2 bagels yesterday! Also, don't let that get you down, far from your daily intake! I saw you lost a whopping 4.4lbs, that's freaking awesome, lady! Pat yourself on the back...that is an AMAZING loss. And, it's all due to your efforts...so put that in the surgery pipe! LOL
I'm firmly back on the wagon, but you are right, it's hard to haul yourself back on there. I'm up though and I have every intention of staying on. Food has been good and walking too. Did 33 minutes with the dog and about 3km in that time. yay me! I had a bit of a run in with the wine last night...but it's all tracked so at least I'm accountable.

Sadie I am so very happy your back on, we all know its so hard to jump back on it. and ya when I saw 4.4 I cried a bit because of how happy I was and your right I can kick that surgery crap in the butt because here I am doing it with out it. I am learning to make better choices with food and I have you all here for me. I was also a bit jealous of Stars weather but tomorrow they say it should hit 70 right now its 50 so I'm hoping we will get our spring here soon. I also took a nice 90 mins walk and I'm having grilled chicken salad for lunch and after maybe 45 mins I'm going to start the C25K but with a light jog so I'll get to enjoy the nice weather.
and tomorrow is April wow time is just passing by. new challenges/goals I can't wait0 -
Sadie: Nice job with your walk time/distance!! YAY YOU! And yeah, living in California has some perks...that's why we pay a RIDICULOUS amount of money in ALL ways to live here! lol. But I'm soo happy with my garden! I'm beginning to branch out and get more comfortable. I started with the easy stuff tomatoes, basil, bell peppers...This year I'm getting into the stuff that grows underground: carrots, garlic. We'll see how it goes!
Skittles: So excited for you and your C25K workouts!! How did W1D1 go??? And congrats on the OVER 4lb loss! WOOT WWOOOOOTTTT!!!
I swam yesterday but it wasn't a very good workout. I ended up only doing about 25 minutes total because my gear kept malfunctioning! First of all my swimcaps kept popping up. I have a head full of braids so I have to wear two of them and they would NOT stay in place for some reason. And then second my goggles kept leaking...to top it all off, the pool was full so I was sharing a lane with this old guy that would NOT stay on his side! HAHAHAH...his arms were flailing about and he was swimming crooked and every time we would pass each other he would either hit me or kick me. LOL. He'd better be lucky I've got a soft spot in my heart for old people!!! So...I ended up just cutting it short. It was really nice to be in the water though. I'll go again next Saturday or Sunday.
I MAY try to do a C25K workout tonight. Oh, btw...I bought a new scale and it weighs a full FIVE POUNDS HEAVIER than my old scale! I was soo bummed!!! So, I put my weight at the new scale weight which is 316...guess I'm further away from being in TWOterville than I thought!
Whatever, I'll keep pushing! But my new goal is to be UNDER 300lbs for my birthday on June 13th. 10 weeks to lose at least 17lbs. A few weeks ago that would have sounded like a PIECE OF CAKE. Now, I'm not sure!!!0
