    @melissa: congrats on starting up the running. I'm on week 2 of a Couchto 5k program. Seems super easy, but I'm sticking to it to to avoid knee problems I've had in the past. Hope yours stay okay too!

    @jbhardwood: I remember someone on MFP saying how she realized that if she was in the red one day, it just meant she wasn't losing weight that one day and that really, that wasn't really a problem. It's obvious, but strangely freeing. Her goal was that she had to be under or at least not over maintenance every day. I thought that was an interesting approach. Nice and relaxed.

    @miridai- I know what you mean about seeing family, it's a real trigger for me to EAT ALL THE FOODS!!! I'm sure it was worth it for you! I changed your goal to 29 days.

    I feel asleep doing taxes before I could finish my last big glass of water and I don't mind going red once in a while. I've been doing pretty good with this group so far; much better than when I'm on my own.

    Good amount of steps today! I was surprised to see I had hit my steps goal by the time I got home from work. Looking back it seems like I should be able to recreate that activity with some thought....that would be exciting!!!:flowerforyou:

    I did a 5 mile power walk and then ate a slice of cake with way too much icing (I did not eat all the icing). The cake had no nutritional information so I have no idea how many calories it was. I decided that since I had 400+ calories that should be enough for a slice of a mini cake (serves 6 max from our local grocery). :laugh:

    So many on a great streak for this first half of the month. Keep it up!!!

    Walked the pups tonight. Had a "Power Your Lunch Hour" with staff where we shared some fitness "toys"---like the hula hoop, weighted ball, ping pong, Tai Chi video, and balance board...and of course my shake weight!!! Was a good time and requested to happen again! I'm sure i should be able to log my laughter as the Shake Weight NeVER disappoints. :laugh: :wink: :laugh:
