    Added 1 mile running, 0.1 miles walking, and 23.4 miles on the bike today (for a grand total of 24.5 miles on the day). I might walk to the park with my family tonight, so that would add on another mile or so, round trip, but we'll have to see what time they get home. It is GORGEOUS here in Oregon, simply gorgeous (I'm sorry for the folks in other parts of the country who are having scary and terrible weather)... for some reason, this year, we're really getting remarkably great weather.

    And April is over (so far as my mileage is concerned). 2.2 miles in the heat today, hit and exceeded my goal for the month. Guess I get to be a bit more ambitious for May!

    Had to wait for the storms to let up before I could get out. I started out my walk by rescuing a turtle from the middle of the road - took him with me around the lake till I found a nice spot. Was only planning my usual three miles but did some extra to get closer to my 10K steps, then remembered I had 85 miles already and decided to turn the four into 5 miles and make it 90 for the month, which is my personal best.

    TL;DR 5 mile walk :laugh:

    This was my 12th challenge and my doing 90 miles (and running 16.5 of them) is amazing to me. I can't thank the mods enough for this group, and all the encouragement. I started last year with 30-35 miles and not making those every time. And I love reading all the progress posts of my fellow *kitten* movers - we rock! :glasses:

    Rode the home stationary bike for 5.5 miles to finish April off a little above my goal.

    Final total for April = 87.23.

    KAR328 - That is so wonderful how far you have come!! I smile ear to ear reading your posts of what you're doing now because I remember where you used to be. You've been working so hard and are such a wonderful example that if you just keep moving and push your comfort zone a little, great things happen. :flowerforyou:

    CPANUS - You had plennnnty of time, Chris! :laugh: I had like 4 or 5 full pages of updates to get through!! :noway: SCARFE has been chiming in right after I post pretty often too... :bigsmile: That's okay, I still have a couple pages of new May goals to enter before I go to bed tonight anyway so she'll have time too. :laugh:


    As for me, I did a quick lunch walk today between raindrops and then added a 10.6 mile stationary bike ride tonight to achieve another record mileage month for me with 184.2!!!

    WHETHER OR NOT YOU MADE GOAL, WHAT A GREAT MONTH, EVERYONE!!!
