Okay so after tanking on my "That Sucks..." ride last week I decided to play a bit. If you ever wondered, corn fields don't stop wind at all...

Not exactly a picturesque place to ride through, especially with all the other beautiful submissions, but it was on my way to Sir Thomas, from Sat's ride. This is the result of a wildland fire that we had last July.
Here I am riding around the lake.

Dang! Amazing photos! That's it. I'm coming to bicycle over in your neck of the woods. All I have to do is figure out how to take time off and afford the trip. Don't expect a visit anytime soon. Gorgeous pictures. Keep them coming.0

This is my first image post on MFP. I pass this house on most of my rides... it's in Buford, GA.0 -
This picture is of a road called Sun Valley Parkway. The road looks like this for about 30 miles, huge shoulders to ride on and very little to no traffic. The whole length of this road was planned to be developed to rival Mesa, AZ one of the largest communities in the Phoenix area. This big road was made to accommodate that idea. Many other infrastructures were put such as electrical and cable tv etc in anticipation for this growth. The project never took off and just about all plans for this area were abandoned. The main developer was caught up in some scandal or something, and the crash of the economy back about ten years ago pretty much left this road desolate. Left a nice road for us bikers though.

There are some really impressive photos on here. That photo of the storm clouds is really nice. That "Abandoned" road would be really nice to bike on. Wish we had one of those here. I like that house in Georgia. All really nice photos. Glad I'm not judging them. :-)0
