Hi, I know we have a daily thread, but is anyone interested in a weekly weigh-in thread? If so, shall we leave it up to the individual to decide exactly what and how much to report?

    I weighed in today at 142.6, I will update approx. once a week. As sometimes it is hard to get on MFP messages everyday

    I'm down 3lb to 10st.

    Really pleased with that, as the weight loss had slowed for a couple of weeks. Also, getting below 10st is looking very do-able.

    129.9!

    I am so glad to get below 130, even by only an ounce (I think? We measure body weight in imperial but everything else in metric here, so I'm not 100% sure how pounds and ounces work :tongue: )

    I have been avoiding stepping on the scale for a while - at the beginning of June I finally lost my Christmas 3 lbs to get back to last summer's weight of 128.5, then upped my calories and promptly shot up 5 pounds.

    Last Friday's weigh-in: 149.5 (down 1.5!!!). Finally getting below 150. I've been stuck there for quite a few weigh-ins now.. 150, 151, 150 but never 149.. so Yay! hopefully I can keep it going down!

    I am new to this group! My latest weight is 132.4 (down from134.8 the previous week). I would like to reach 120, and hope these weekly checks will keep me committed!

    Way to completely forget to check in, here.

    130 today. Going to start weighing myself daily or every other day so I can start picking up on trends (and actually remembering to weigh myself every week)

    149.5, same as last week! Heck it's better than gaining.

    I am struggling here, up to 143.6 well better than what I was a few days ago, very nervous as going on holidays.

    133.6, up from132.4 last week. I am pretty upset! I went over my calories the past two days in a row, but I was good the rest of the week. Also, when i click on "complete" for the day, it still tells me I should be losing weight, even with the amount I went over. So a 1.2 pound gain does not seem right! Very discouraging,

    @Bettyboag AWESOME!!
    @Dana maybe its just water retention too. If you had a bit more sodium or if TOM is coming around........ you never know!! That's why scales LIE!

    I've upped my cals from 1500 to 1750 and tracking and weighing food SUPER ACCURATELY so looking forward to Friday morning. My TDEE should be between 1900-2000 according to a few calculators so its TDEE - 10%. I'm hoping it will shed some light on some numbers. Will keep you posted :)

    Thanks for the encouragement Betty and Gen! Good luck with the new calorie goals Gen--I will be interested to see how it goes. I am always wondering how many calories are really my perfect number!
