I didn't weigh myself for few weeks because I was seriously slacking but as of last week I'm back on track and have lost 3kg recently.

    28 July: 74kg
    18 August: 71kg

    (Goal:64kg)

57.6 kg's today down 2.3 kg's in total but only 300 grams for the last week which really is not that thrilling! However work pants do feel better

    Thank you!!! :)

As I'm getting closer to my goal weight (and being a "normal" weight now) I'm finding the weight is coming off slower, which I understand is normal but can I aim to lose 1kg a week from now onwards or is it too much? I have 7kg more to go.

Natalie: I think 1kg a week is really a lot. But it's up to you and what your body can do! I would aim more for 1 pound per week (or roughly half a kilo)

I am at 145.4 this morning!! The lowest I've ever been and down 1 lbs!

Stuck at 60kg (132 lbs)!! But better to maintain than gain!
Congratulations on the losses ladies, you inspire me!

That's great Natalie! Yes I think 1 kg per week is the maximum considered safe, so it is acceptable but difficult. I try to lose about .5 kg per week.

Betty, 300g is great, that's over half a pound ????. Nothing wrong with slow weight loss.

Congrats Gen, the lowest you've ever been, that is so exciting!

Lambe--I was stuck in the low 130s this whole year, and now I am finally losing. This group motivated me, and I think I have gotten much better about the tracking, which made the difference!

What day is weigh in? :)

Im 59kg today, so I'll start there :D

I always weigh on Saturday or Sunday--but I don't think we are all doing it at the same time. We just check in after the weigh in, whatever day that is,

During the week I get up to a crying toddler and don't have time to weigh before starting the day. My husband gets up with the kids one day each weekend, so I only get one chance to weigh myself first thing in the morning. So I have no flexibility in day :)

Bad news from the scale today. 130.8, up 1.4 pounds from last week, and back in the 130s. I knew I had a bad week, but I didn't
To think it was this bad. I logged a net of 1430 calories a day, but there was some estimating. This makes me think my estimates were off. This week needs to be strict with logging so I can see the 120s again.

You'd have to be quite off to go up on 1430! Might be water weight?
I'll go with my yesterday weight as I ate over yesterday, so Im definitely up!

    Last week (midweek) 59kg
    This week 58.7kg

Today 57.4 kg's down 200 grams in the last week. 2. 5 kg's in total. I definitely can notice in my work pants- no longer terry tight pants :)
Well done Kiwi and don't panic Dana, Kiwi is probably correct- water weight!!!

Kiwi, you are probably right, must be some water weight for me. And well done for you!

Betty--great job, it's nice when your pants fit better! ????

Dana: i think Kiwi's right about the water weight. If you fed your body a bit more than usual then it replenishes all the glycogen in the muscles hence water retention right away. They always say when you're on a diet and you go to maintenance you will likely gain 5 pounds and that's all muscle replenishing and water weight, not fat weight. You'd have to be off by around 7000 cals to have gained 2 pounds of fat so.. DON'T WORRY :)

Betty and Kiwi : good job on the loses!!!

Thanks Gen! That is interesting, I hadn't heard that about going onto maintenance, makes sense.

130.5 this morning, down from 130.8 a week ago, I can't say I am pleased with such a small loss, especially since I was 129.4 two weeks ago. I haven't been able to get below 129 since my son was born, and I feel like I an still stuck. I will try to hang in there--I hear sometimes it pays off to just wait out a plateau...

Keep positive Dana :flowerforyou: it will happen!!!
For me up 100 grams this week. 57.5 kg's- not surprising as I have had a couple of bad days.

Thanks Betty :). 100g is not much, I'm sure it won't spoil your downward trend!

I am skipping weigh in this week--was away this weekend and did a lot of drinking...
