My normal routine is a 6km walk each morning at an average pace of 6.5km per hour. I also do 3 exercise classes per week and try to do two sessions of strength exercises in the gym. It seems to be working as I've dropped 11lbs in 3 weeks.0

Maybe next week I can do this! I have been having back problems since I woke up Tuesday. Saw the dr. today and got meds for pain and muscle relaxers. Ugh.0

5 leg raises - laying on side - each leg
10 sec plank - modified using forearms and straight legs

55 squats
8 push-ups - modified wall push-ups
8 dips (max amount I can do for a while on those because this exercise hurts my wrists-carpal tunnel.)
15 bicep curls - 5 lbs weights (I was creative and used full 1/2 gallons of Almond Silk as weights-I weighed them on my food scale)
15 sec punches
20 Sit ups - knees bent (Did 2 sets of 10 for a total of 20)
8 crunches - knees bent
8 leg raises - laying on side - each leg
12 sec plank - straight legs
Wednesday September 3 Day 3 of 5

8 dips - modified used fists instead of flat hands (max amount I can do for a while on those because this exercise hurts my wrists-carpal tunnel.)

25 Sit ups - knees bent All together, no breaks

Rode my 6 speed bike at setting 5 for 1 hour, even up hills! - Biked 6.75 miles
1/2 mile on Treadmill - I forgot how boring it is without music...need to use my mp3 player next time!

I tore the cartilage on my knee during a Taebo class but I swim now and try to do some weight lifting until my surgery day. :-)0

I would love to go to the Gym again but everytime i go after about 4 weeks i get an injury first it was sciatica then a knee strain so now I am frightened of going back what am I doing wrong x0

I am the only one capable walking our dog for the next three weeks. And he is large and active. He needs at least 30 min in the morning and an hour in the evening, so I'll have plenty of exercise on a daily basis :happy:0

I go to Aqua fit classes twice a week and try to walk for 30 to 60 mins a day depending on the weather so today as my calories are over it will be a 60 mins walk xx0

Good morning everyone! Glad to be part of this group! 30 lbs lost by my birthday (Feb) is my goal, so losing 20 by Christmas would put me right on track! My whole life, I was the girl who tried to GAIN weight because I had trouble with collapsing lungs due to being too thin. Fast forward to two kids, my late 30's and a desk job and I gained 50 lbs! I have since taken off 10 lbs but have another 30 to go to reach my sweet spot. Two days ago, I started the "17 Day Diet" and am having tremendous success--4.6 lbs lost already! I'm a little late on the exercise challenge, but I try to walk 30-40 mins most days. I've been carrying the extra weight for about 4 years now and I'm tired of complaining about it.0

I'm back in it this week. Last week I was sick most of the week so I took it easy. so for this week:
day 1 - 90 min walk very slow pace but I was pushing a double stroller so that added to the workout.0 -
I'm new to groups, so I couldn't figure out where you all were! Here you are!
Last week I got up 4x's in the morning to go jogging! I feel really proud about that, because as the Fall air sets in, it can be really tempting to stay in bed
This week:
Monday- PM jog- 2.3 Mi!
Tue- AM run- 1.56 mi
Wed-Rest
I also feel great about how much I have been trying to pace myself! I always push push too hard with the running, and then burn out/quit when I don't make the progress I want. I've really been trying to run 5x's a week now, and simply go a tiny bit further each time. I've been increasing by .10 mi each run, and so far I still feel great!

I had good intentions tonight and went to the gym to do a Zumba class. I found myself in the front of the class only to find out it was a GRIT Strength class. Well too embarrassed to leave, I just had to grin and bear it. The rest of the class were half my age. I should've twigged when I went it and saw all of the young bodies.
Anyways, I think going to a few classes is a good way to get the exercise in. I have also joined two additional cycling groups to get in more cycling through the week.
Having trouble sticking to my calories though. I can't say whether it is hunger or just habit.
