Hi! Congrats on the progress --- you are an inspiration!

Have you had any issues with loose skin or anything else you weren't expecting? I am just curious because I am about your height and I just started my journey (I was sleeved on 9/18/14). I am still in the challenging liquid phase. I had a dream the other day of food talking to me!

    Hi All,
3 months out from Gastric sleeve. Got mine for medical reasons mostly, but looking good is cool too.
209 was my highest and growing out of my size 16's.
Lost 10 lbs before the GS.

Now at 169, and in a size 12. My feet have stayed the same.

Ooo, fun! I had RNY on 7/17/14 and all is going swimmingly.

    Age: 44
    Height: 5'5"
HW: 311 This is at my last pre-op appointment. Likely it was higher but I wouldn't know because prior to prepping for surgery I hadn't been on a scale in years.

    Starting pant size: 26/28
shirt size: as big as I could get them; 26/28, 3x

    shirt size: 18, xl

I still have big honkin' size 11 feet, but my shoes fit better for sure.

I had my Gastric Sleeve done on 9/24/14 so almost 3 months ago (just had my 3 month post-op check up)

    Age: 39
    Height: 5'1"
At my first appointment I was at 379
    Day before surgery: 341
    Today: 281
Starting pants size: 32(jeans) 3x-4x everything else
Current sizes: 26 jeans not sure on the rest, but I've had to take in the waist on everything I own
    Shirt size: 4x
currently probably 2x but again I've had to alter some shirts cause I'm not ready to buy new ones yet

So far not to many issues, I've tested the waters a little (so to speak) and am learning that some things are just off limits now. I can't tolerate coffee at all, tea I have to mix half regular half decaf (yes I know I'm not supposed to have any caffeine for 6 months but that just don't work for me lol), even diet soda watered down is a no go, so for now my half caff tea is my best friend! Anything deep fried will never again pass my lips (I got popcorn chicken a couple weeks ago without thinking about the fact it was deep fried and oh my did my tummy hate me that day! It hurt quite a bit so I will never be tempted to try fried foods again!!!)
I'm still pretty much at the stage where 99% of my food is protein. I can get a couple bites of veggies in but not at every meal. I miss veggies! My doctor told me that I can use one day a week as a "low protein day" if I really want a salad or some roasted veggies so that is my plan for now. I had roasted cauliflower as my lunch yesterday (I know that sounds strange lol) but I really really enjoyed it. Next week I plan on having a salad for lunch (cause I miss salad...never thought I'd say that!) with maybe 1-2ozs of chicken just so I'm still getting some protein but still have room for salad fixings too. Anyone else get to that point before being able to eat more non-protein foods?

Posting again. I still have weight to lose, but feel amazing. My goal is somewhere around 150 give or take some. I posted a picture because it has seriously been FOREVER since I've liked a photo of myself. I went out to take professional pictures of photographer friend and had her take a few of me since it'd been forever since I've felt comfortable having my picture taken, and was so happy to see the results. I look like a different person after 110+ lbs gone!

Happy to report that I am sitting under goal at 163. I did hit 159 briefly, however that was following a terrible cold and I wasn't eating much. I bounced back up. I'm looking at setting a lifetime range in 2015... 140 to 150.... so that's what my next year will be about!

I am still waiting for my surgery but have already seen success tracking on MFP for the past month. Met with surgeon in November and hope to have the surgery in April or May (sleeve) after my 6th required dietician visit. First weigh in was difficult as I had only lost 5 of the required 35 pound loss required to schedule surgery. My doc requires a 10% weight loss before scheduling it to aid in surgery success. Started using MFP to calculate calories and month 2 I had lost nearly 15 pounds! I am on my way!
Stats: Highest weight Nov 2014 was 366 lbs. at 5'11"
current weight; 347 and still going strong

My name is Lina. I had RNY 2/13.

    I am 5'3"
    HW 278
    LW128
    CW 136

    I went from a size 24/26 to a size 2-4. Now I am in 4-6.

I have been bouncing back and forth from 132-137. They say not to get used to the lowest weight-but darn it I liked that weight. So I am fighting to get back to 130. It is tough!

    Keep fighting the good fight!
