I see the Day 1 thread for the kick off. How about a thread where we can post the results each day or time you've done your workout.
I'll start it with my results from yesterday.
- 549 calories burned
- 65 minutes
- 3.75 miles
- Various inclines from 2% - 13%
Was planning on today being a rest day but if I change my mind and get on mine today, will post those results afterwards.

This is a great idea. I haven't run on the treadmill yet as the weather is still okay outside but I will be on the treadmill soon. I hope this group is active. It'll be a lot of fun over the winter and very encouraging for all of us.0

Not sure if my treadmill calorie counter is lying to me. I have it on the highest incline and did 4k but said I only burnt off 120 calories. I was jogging for a lot of this? Not sure but it always seems low...
I've been away from the treadmill for a few days, and ate a dominos in the week, ready to get back on tomorrow morning!0 -
akmfp my treadmill is always lower than what my heart rate monitor said.
My run/ walk today
308 calories
32 minutes
2 miles
inclines from 1% to 5%
walk intervals 3mph, run intervals 6 mph

Does the heart rate monitor tell you how many calories you are burning? I might invest in one? I know nothing about them! Your routine was similar to what I ran but the "computer" on my treadmill said only 120 cal burnt0
-
Did you enter your weight and height into the treadmill? 120 calories is too low, for sure, but perhaps not for someone 2 ft tall, weighing 50 lbs (as an extreme, silly example)?0
-
It does not give me the option to input my weight and height, it's not an overly expensive treadmill but it was not cheap either. I am going to look at one of them heart rate monitors on amazon.0
-
the heart rate monitor does give you your calorie burn. I have a polar fit I don't remember the model . It was around $70 and works really well0

Have slowly increased treadmill to 40 min...one year ago I was at 5-10 min.0

I had my first treadmill workout of the season today. It's blustering with really heavy winds and sheets of driving rain.

Ran 7Km (4.375 miles) in 56:20 at speeds between 7.5-8.5 Km/hr (4.7-5.3 miles/hr)
Walked 1.3K in 14:40, which includes a 2-minute (0.18Km) warm-up walk to start off and a 12:40 (1.12Km) cool-down walk at the end.
Total time on the treadmill: 71 minutes

Hello All,
Today I repeated Week 1 Day 3 of C25K.
- Walked at 3.5 mph and ran at 5.0 mph.
Once I completed that 30 min routine, I walked for another 15 mins at 3.5. I burned a total of 309 calories.
Hey Nikon, GREAT JOB on your increase!!
Good Night All!!0 -
Also, I rotated between an incline of 0%-3%0

Nice workout, CMcH4! Hang in there. C25K was my training program as well.0
-
Great work all!! I also did the C25K on the treadmill. Was a great program. Just decided I'm better off walking than running. Easier on my body.
Yesterday's work out was
629 calories burned
4.15 miles
70 minutes
1%-13% incline.0 -
Thank you PaytraB

Hello All,
Today I repeated the C25K W1D3 routine. I'm feeling comfortable with week 1 so maybe moving on to week 2 won't feel as challenging as before. I also decided to workout longer after my 30 min C25K routine and walked for another 32 mins.
401 Calories
3.011 Miles
62.17 minutes
2% incline
first 30 mins rotated between 3.0 and 5.0 speed.
last 30 mins, I walked between 2.0 and 3.0

Thanks addiec1! I'm still at it...Yesterday I repeated W1D3 with a constant 2% incline. I'm finding that it's getting much easier. By the time I'm at my last run, it feels like I've done just enough before I feel like giving up. I think I'll keep repeating until it's much easier before going to another week. I'm also trying to do this routine more than 3 times a week.

Walking, 3.0 mph, mod. pace - 40 minutes - twice - once in the morning & once at night; Calories burned 496 per MFP.
For the heck of it, I tried 3 other calculators using weight, height, speed/distance and age -- those came out at 522, 528 & 598... I am sticking with MFP numbers.0 -
Great workouts everyone!

Ran 5K (3.1 miles) in 37:30 at 7.6Km/hr and an incline of 1.

I went back to W2D1 of C25K, it wasn't too bad! I'll probably stick with week 2 for two weeks like I did with week 1.
5 min warm up walk at a brisk pace, then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two mins of walking for total of 20 mins and then 5 min cool down.
walk 3.0, jog 5.0 2% incline, lowered two 0% a couple of times
2.028 dist
264 calories burned.
I'm excited!0 -
455kcal burnt - 30 minute session - I got a heart watch thingy, so I am assuming this is accurate data, my treadmill said less than 70cal burnt. Very suspicious, the watch I got had a strap around the heart and said I was at 170 beats when most active and around 110 went walking normally (albeit grabbing my water bottle from the garage)..0

Cmch4, I'm doing c210k, I did c25k before. I started at c210k which is the same as c25k. I finished week 2 today so we will be con close to the same training schedule for awhile. 297 calories 31 minutes run 6 mph, walk 3 mph, incline of 2 the whole time. 2.03 miles

I don't track calories burned on my treadmill time - use a TDEE method with my Fitbit. (That, and my treadmill does not allow to enter user settings so the burn is for some fictional person I've never met. He burns a LOT of calories when I'm on the treadmill though.)
55 minute session, 4.271 miles total. Ran a mile @ 5.0mph, 3x, with walking in between. My best yet!0 -
