You're doing great! I did workout 5 and it went okay but I didn't really increase any weights or reps. Only for my RDL: went up five lbs to 85lbs. Otherwise, I was feeling really tired and unenergetic. I think the end of summer vacation, being home with my boys, is exhausting me. I am doing some cardio today and then workout 6 tomorrow; hopefully it will go well. I am definitely going to do the full 12 workouts in stage 7 as that will bring me to the end of this month, and then I am going to take a week off of lifting at the beginning of September while I get my boys settled back into school. Just cardio that week, maybe try out a new class or two. I started stage 1 in April, I think, went straight through except for stage 6, and never took a week off lifting, so I want one after this! Then its on to Supercharged :)

    Pudding,

    85 for RDL is wonderful!
I took a week off after week 1. Then nothing in other stages.

I thought there are just 6 workouts in Stage 7? What do you mean 12 workouts? Planning to do it twice?

How have you been eating? Have you lost any weight?

Right, there are only six but the book states you can do the set of workouts twice. I'm going to, since I haven't made as much progress as I'd like.

No weight loss and I've actually put on weight but that's because of my food: I have binge eating disorder so it is very hard for me to lose. Its an ongoing battle. I did so well earlier in this year and actually lost 20 pounds, but have since put about ten back on. It is truly a daily battle. If it weren't for exercise I'd probably weigh over 200 pounds :P

Anyway, I know my strength has improved and hopefully, if I can make some headway against the binge, maybe I'll lose some weight doing Supercharged.

Stage 7-6 today and it went fantastically! I raised my weight for every exercise.

2x8 barbell deadlifts, one set at 85lb and the other at 95lb (highest ever!)
    4x15:
squats with heels raised on plates (two sets with 30lb and two with 35lb)
Shoulder presses (two sets at 30lb and two at 35lb)
Step ups (two sets at 30lb and two at 35lb)
Underhand grip lat pulldowns (three sets at 90lb and one half set at 105lb)

Are you still around, mnsmov? I finished stage 7 today and did really well on everything but those effing push ups that never get easier for me :P

Got a PR of 105# for my deadlifts and also did the full sets/reps of step ups with a 40# barbell. Got my squats and lunges up to 35# consistently for all sets and reps. Progress has been made :)

I'm doing stage 7 now. Thank you all who've gone before, for sharing your pain! I took the advice and lowered my weights today for workout 1! It's hard, but wasn't impossible b/c in had your advice. So, thank you!! It was short enough to cool down for 5 minutes on the treadmill and stretch a bit afterwards. I think that'll help with soreness tomorrow. :)

Planning workout 2 on Wednesday if I'm not too sore...

Ok, I thought 2 was harder than 1...but I'm loving this stage! Must be a glutton for punishment, but I feel like I'm working hard and it's all good stuff!!

Yup! I did 7.5 today...I made it! Even got up to 20reps on a few. Gonna try to up the weights a bit on a few next time. I like bench pressing-but I'm weak! Do not miss planks one iota either!! Lol!

I'll probably finish stage 7 on Saturday and may do another round of it. I like the idea of cutting, and can sue use it! But I wanna get stronger too! :)

I finished 5B yesterday and am starting Stage 7 (skipping 6 for now) on Friday. After reading these posts, I'm both excited and scared!! I am definitely seeing a huge change in my body - my shoulders and chest especially. I can't wait to see what the final cut does for me. I'm thinking of working with a trainer to meet specific goals when this is all done.

and I may be weird, but I actually loved the 120 sec planks, cobras, and the BWM. I always felt super POWERFUL at the end of each set.

Hello, don't know if anyone is here. I am finishing up stage 7 now. I'm not timing my rests in between exercises. Perhaps I will do that for the last few.

Made it into stage 7. After reading this whole forum a couple of times, it had me a little worried but with dropping the weights down a bit, things went pretty well the first day. Though not sure if it was wise to do day 1 the same day as having to work freight but made it through everything. My shoulders and thighs are a little sore.

Still not a fan of anything above 10 reps, hehe, but will make it through. Now to work out jogging despite this pesky summer heat.
