Were you able to figure out if the bedtime snack is what bumped your fasting number up?116 .. I think I found the secret ... it's always been recommended but I rarely practiced it ... eat a snack a couple of hours before going to bed.
Some folks seem to find a bedtime snack helps their numbers. Maybe it depends on the content of the snack; I'd be interested in what you're eating as a snack.
I think what keeps my fasting BG reasonable these days is Bydureon.

Well sorry I haven't been on. I ran out of strips! I didn't test my FBS this morning but two hours after breakfast and it was 107. Breakfast was beef barbacoa burrito and diet coke. 510 calories, 56 carbs, 30 protein.0

131 ... had the wrong snack ... a 1/4 cup of dried currants but no protein.
@ankalime ... it's really important that the snack include a little bit of carb, some protein and some fat ... a balanced snack of less than 200 calories ... taken after supper but before bedtime.0 -
