With my first pregnancy i found out i was pregnant... i was 5'2" and 180 lbs. I gained 8 lbs. I didnt gain much because i was so heavy i didnt need to gain a lot.
With this pregnancy i started off at 169 and now i am 4 months and i am 159

So yeah... as you can see I've lost some weight. I've been... *ahem*... "clearing out" for like 4 days in a row. My stomach and bum feel miserable. =\
On the bright side, I'm within my weight gain goal... lol.
If I don't go into labor on my own, I'm being induced on Thursday (1/15). I'll keep weighing daily though, cause I like seeing the numbers. It's fun for me. I'm interested to see what my weight does over the next 4 days, but even more so for post-partum. It's like a science project for me! lol0 -

Clearing out and weight loss is always a sign of labor for me! Good luck, mama you may be closer than your induction date.0 -

17 pound gain so far. I was up to 22 pounds after the holidays, but that has dwindled down. I'm still trying to eat well and exercise, though Im totally going to taco bell after work for 2 tacos.0 -
Big jump this week! 28 weeks and weigh 131.8. Starting weight was 117 @ 5'4 so I have gained 14.8 pounds so far. I am getting induced at 3 I weeks so hopefully 25 is pounds total this is my third and last pregnancy with boy number 30

I'm happy I hit my weight gain target though. I tried really hard to keep things in check while not restricting myself and also enjoyed the holidays (which was HARD) and kept active until the last 4 weeks when I just couldn't physically do it.

Hi Guys.
New to the group and new to pregnancy. 5ft 6 BMI 32 and 34yrs old.
For the first 3 weeks of the year I was on a post Christmas diet (5:2) and lost 10lb, found out I was pregnant and switched to a healthy diet with the principle of not putting anything in that isn't of nutritional use to me and the baby and have continued to lose a pound a week. Also, no drinking or Starbucks!
So far 5.5 weeks and down 12lb.
As I am already overweight I am hoping to gain no more than 11lb recommended for my size and am hoping as best I can to maintain using a healthy diet heavy on fruit, veg and dairy.
Hoping my excess fat will become baby bump and that being pregnant will force me to stick to a wholesome and healthy diet0 -
30 weeks here! Today I weigh 133 and my starting weight was 117 @ 5'4 so I have gained 16 pounds so far. I get induced in 8 1/2 weeks so I need to gain at least 9 more pounds. This is baby number 3 for me and it's our last one0

6 weeks and up 1lb from 147 to 148. I'm happy at 130 so I'm hoping to gain 15lbs or so during the whole pregnancy. Right now I'm eating what I can and trying to stay on track. The all day sickness is starting to set in0

28 weeks today and up 16 pounds! My doc is happy with my gain, although he suggested I gain anywhere between 25 and 35 pounds for the pregnancy, I think I'll be able to gain only 25 pounds or so, which isn't a bad thing.
I'm all belly (and boobs) though! I've been showing super early.0 -
Now I'm at 34 weeks and up to 19 pounds. Staying active (teaching fitness classes and taking care of a 3 year old) has made it really easy to manage my weight gain. My moods are a lot more consistent too with consistent workouts.0

I'm 25 weeks +a few days now and when I weighed in yesterday, I actually showed that I'm down 1.5 from my starting weight. Guess we will see the official weigh-in at the doctor next week though... I'm sure my scale and theirs don't match up.
So. I was wrong on my last post. I got my "Starting Weight/10 week weight" from my doctor this morning and it was 228, not 224 - based on her scale (I'm obviously a work in progress - that's why I'm here)!

I'm going for my 16 week visit tomorrow and I'm nervous! I literally take my shoes off, ally jewelry and then find myself making excuses as to by I gained the weight, like I ate alit of salt the day before. I know it's silly because we are supposed to gain weight but I think when you tried so hard to lose weight and be fit before the pregnancy it's very hard to get out of the mindset! I was a super clean eater and went to the gym 5 yo 6 days a week prior to getting pregnant, I still work out regularly but I'm finding myself craving not so good food. I've been trying to fight the cravings but once you get that sugar back into your diet it's foo hard to get it out! Help!0
