Taking the family to the movies, how do I NOT eat popcorn?

This is my carb downfall, right here, movie theater popcorn with extra butter (oil, I mean, like they use real butter, haha)
any suggestions on how to resist this evil carb filled deliciousness?

How have you resisted doing meth? I'd go that route :D

We went yesterday and the famiily shared a large bucket, while I sipped on Diet Pepsi. It actually didn't bother me-I just made sure I ate before we went so I wasn't hungry :)

I went to the movies last weekend and thought I'd have the same problem.
Was super surprised when I got there and the smell of the popcorn and all the candy (sucker for raisonettes) kind of made me a litte queasy.

Probably not legal or ethical, but, walked to the store and bought some jerky (very low carb, some are crazy high in carbs), and am planning on sneaking it into the theater...hey, don't judge me, after all the family will still be eating their overpriced popcorn, soda, and candy, lol!

I'm not afraid to bring my own container of water into the theatre in my purse. But I did not want popcorn about 3 weeks ago last time I went to the movies....since I knew I would be eating a steak when the movie ended.

My husband once brought in a shrimp ring...don't let some beef jerky bother yah! :D

Sneak in a bag of pork rinds. Or cocoa dusted almonds...

    I hope this helps,

Ask for an empty cup and just take the butter

Maybe if it were real butter...

My answer? Sit on your hands & don't allow popcorn into your mouth.

I went to the movies last night and looked up how many carbs were in Popcorn, it was more than I thought. Even the smallest bag would be too much.

There is absolutely nothing that you can buy at the theater that is low carb. Next time I be more prepared.

    Good alternative! Certainly low carb...

I haven't tried Bacon Jerky. But every other jerky I have tried from Oberto's was really good.

I had 1 piece of movie popcorn a few weeks ago and I can't believe I ever liked it. It was pretty gross. The longer you follow low carb the more your taste in food changes. You aren't missing anything, sneak in a low carb snack
