    Setting my goal at 60 miles between the elliptical and stationary bike. I hope to do 3 miles on at least 20 days on what looks like a busy month.

    Goes who isn't on the board yet? I spent all day yesterday flying home and will spend all day today moving my son out of his dorm room. I'll be ready for a good run tomorrow.

    Ran a 5K today more than two minutes faster than last year! 32:49
    Nice way to start off May!

    Starting May with a 3 mi walk last night, 2.3 mile run this morning, plus .7 walking = 6 miles! And I will be going with the beach themed ticker...I'm ready for summer please!

    @clepant I love the idea of the kids' marathon!! I have a Facebook friend whose children ran that. I wonder if it's that one? So fun! Hope you and the kids have a great time! (And I'm guessing you must either teach middle school or be admin to have so many students!) :)

    Welcome to all the new folks joining us. We have such a wonderful group of people here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Happy logging.

    @scarfe9991: The kids marathon is fabulous. This is the 5th year and I have been involved with the last four. It is for grades K thru 6. I teach elementary health and physical education to a school of over 800 kids. We won two grants this year. One third grade girl was runner up in the slogan on the race bag and earned us $100.00 and we were given another grant of $1000 for our continued increase in numbers. First year, 45, second year 57, third year 105 and this year 177 students. Next year my goal is for 200. It was a fabulous day and so much fun running with parents and students. Wish they could all be with me for the half tomorrow...they are inspiring.

    May 2: 5.1 Miles- Ran 1.1 miles and walked 4 miles

    TTD:10.6 Miles

    I usually only track running but I'm going to add walks this week as it may be the only exercise I get due to work restrictions
