.... and I'm still at 0 miles. Not sure when I will be able to post *any*. My son was expelled from school last week, and well... life doesn't look like what I expected to. I'm staying active, working outside on the weekends and evenings, but I can't make it to the gym much because they don't have childcare at the gym during the noon hour when I normally go, and since I have nothing else to do with my son right now.... Also, I'm trying to squeeze in work at just about all hours so that I don't fall behind, since I"m scrambling to find child care, working from home, bringing him to the office - able to work 3/4 days here and there - and making up the rest of the time between 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. This is crazy making, but strangely, I have a real peace about it. It sure seems easier than it was sending him to school - which he hated. strange how things work out.

@scarfe9991 - I'm not sure what to put for your total tonight... so, I added 4.9 to your previous total, which puts you at 17.1 - but you can update us more specifically tomorrow.

@hkristine1 Hang in there. It might take awhile to get your routine back in order, but eventually you will be fine. Strange how our challenges with our kids, as crazy as they make us, also help us refocus on what really matters in life. Your son is lucky to have you on his side.

4.3 mile run/walk. Ran 2 miles in my second fastest time, which was amazing, since I left the house promising myself I'd run one. Then some little voice in my head told me we were going for two. But the little voice knew not to push it.

@hkristine1 - mums always seem to find a way through and as a woman you have a special kind of toughness that will serve you well. Your son will be ok with you batting for him.

    Edited for typo.

First real ride on the demo saddle. Already noticed a difference. This bike shop did a general bike fitting on me, made adjustments to the bike as well as where to put the new saddle. I think this is going to work out. Maybe a long ride tomorrow. Today was just a teaser.

    05/01 - 14.0 miles cycling
    05/02 - 2.0 miles walking
    05/03 - 14.0 miles cycling
    05/04 - 27.0 miles cycling
05/05 - 3.0 miles turbo trainer (saddle testing)
    05/06 - 10.0 miles cycling (demo saddle)

    Total: 70.0 miles
