    Oh boy I just realized I haven't updated on here in a long time...What a crazy month but I've been keeping track of my miles in my health notebook, total for the month was 19.5 out of 30

    Finished July strong with a fast 22 mile bike ride last night and an early morning 5k run plus some walking this morning! Bring it on, August!

    3.2 mile walk. A snake was on the path, saw me and fled back into the woods. Not sure if that was a compliment or insult.

    Got another 2.5 miles in today at lunch! That makes 75 miles toward my goal of 60. :smile:

    Was also looking at my log for the month and see that I had a good month in that I only took 2 complete rest days where I didn't do some deliberate form of exercise. That's pretty good for me. :laugh: And upon closer inspection, what makes me prouder is that I walked at lunch 20 times this month and didn't miss a day in 4 weeks. I also did more than one workout 6 times, which I really need to do better than that though...at least double that...or more if I really want to improve my fitness.

    @clepant thank you for thinking of me! No new news yet, my MRI isn't until Aug 15. But it is feeling better, no sharp pains, but also not running yet so we shall see!

    7/30- 8.51 miles walking/biking
    Total to date - 199.12 of 160 miles
    Dave- those are great numbers! I always like to look back at the past few months to see the progress I've made in different areas (improving food intake nutrition, increasing activity etc.) because I know the scale is not always my friend, but if I can still see some type of improvement, I'm not as discouraged :)
    @clepant- I'll be sure to tell my husband that the hours required by my friend's group may not be the same requirements for him - he was put off by the large hour commitment she had to make. It would be great to have a master garden in the house :) (or should I say- in the "yard"?)

    Excelled myself today with London walk and local this evening 8.2 miles meaning ttd is 112.55 miles for the month a PB

    After running Wednesday night, I figured yoga would probably do me more good yesterday than spin class, even though I would have liked the spin miles. Walked 7 miles today to finish with 107.1/100

    Closing the month on a disappointing day. There was no way I was going to ride today, at 8 am temps were in the 80's. It is now 105 degrees. Never cooled off last night, was 80 at midnight.

    07/29 - 11.0 miles cycling
    07/30 - 12.0 miles cycling
    07/31 - 02.0 miles walking

    Total: 263.0 miles
