Hmmmm...back to work this month. Summer break is almost over. I am going to push for 200 miles again because I have a few 10K's and a 10 miler coming up in the next few months. Plus I too would like to get more bike miles in.Morning training will be heading back to evening and weekends.
@Dave: I don't think anyone took your comment in the wrong way. We have to figure what we feel we are capable of and of course consider health and time constraints. I think it is awesome to see everyone moving each day.0 -

Yikes, you ladies are all making me feel like a slacker for my puny little 60 miles.... :laugh: :laugh: I'd better up my game a little! lol I am planning to get some biking in this month. I didn't do a single mile on a bike in July. But I will up my goal to 100 for August.

Everyones goal is different that is what is so very special about our team... We root for you no matter if you goal is 1 mile or 1000 miles... We are all in this together .... Thanks so much to all of you for being there for me...

Hello August. The heat has really sapped my running mojo. I'm signing up for my usual 100. IF I can stick to my training program I will blow through that, but I've been struggling all week. Today I got up before 6am to get in my long run, so I'm on the board with 13 miles. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.0 -

SOOO close to the MYAC GROUP 500,000 LIFETIME GOAL!! With the recent entries (some not posted to the spreadsheet yet), we're within roughly 380 miles of reaching it!!! I'm pretty sure it'll happen this weekend or Monday at the latest!!

Well we are having a heat wave (again, what else is new) and it is starting to sap my strength too. I am now carrying 2 bottles in the cages on my bike and 1 in my jersey pocket. Even riding early in the morning isn't helping much, as it is not cooling down at night. Oh well, here comes August! But it does give me an excuse to go have my favorite recovery drink, my Dutch Bros Skinny Ice Mocha.
