First Week sucess using MFP

I was probably a bit too aggressive, but I lost 10 pounds in my first week. Was under my calorie goal every day and walked 1-1.5 miles 5 nights this week. Looking forward to many more weeks of meeting my goals! 223 pounds to go...

    Wonderful!!!! Make sure you fuel the body. Eat normal n count calories, if you restrict can cause problems in the end. Good luck I'm here for you!!! Gayle Minneapolis

    Probably not too aggressive. Not uncommon to lose a lot your first week. I lost 8.8 lbs my first week, then it moderated from there, a big week, several small losses, then a bigger one has been my trend. As long as you trend down and don't eat some dangerously low number of cals.

    I lost like 15lbs or so in my first week!! It was the biggest incentive to keep going. You can do this!! Keep it up =) Grats on beginning your journey!! Hope it is still going well for you
