    Doctor's appointment tomorrow, hopefully I'll get the thumbs up that everything is going well. The little man has been kicking and moving up a storm lately so that's reassuring.
    I definitely think that in my case keeping up the exercise has been my saving grace for healthy weight gain, because although I make sure to pack lots of healthy nutrient dense food I also eat ice cream/cake/pie on a daily basis. Even though I know there are healthier options for dessert (fruit, yogurt, etc) I never let myself eat treats before pregnancy and now it seems I need a special treat every day. I hope I can cut out this habit once the baby is born but for now I'm really enjoying it :)

    Pre-preg weight was 155.6... I had lost a bit before I found out we were pregnant. I'm kinda using the weight I was when I found out as my pre-preg weight, because I got pregnant during the holidays and was eating and drinking with abandon at that time, so feel I might have been up a bit anyway.

    My gain has been a bit disappointing, but my doctor honestly has not mentioned my weight being a problem once so I guess until they tell me I'm doing poorly to not stress too much. All my lab work has been great so far, so hopefully I don't get too many more of these massive 4 pound spikes!

    At my doctors appointment last week I was told that I might have Placenta Previa (based on an ultrasound from 18.5 weeks). I have to have a follow-up ultrasound at the 30 week mark (so 6 weeks away). Until then I have to be on pelvic rest and no running, heavy lifting or intense exercise. I'm trying to find alternatives to keep my fitness up and keep me sane. I already walk 5-7 km a day, I don't count that towards exercise just my lifestyle. I've tried stationary biking and elliptical, and these are likely going to be my main substitutes for my previous exercise. I also went on youtube and am trying out new workouts like Barre. Very different from what I used to do. I'm likely going to have to watch my diet a bit closer (something I'm not good at, I like to eat a lot) but for now I'm not changing anything because I like my food, if the scale starts jumping up too quickly then I'll try and readjust things.

    Hi ladies - thanks for the encouragement last time on exercising! I am finally doing a bit better on that. It helps that it has cooled down a bit so morning/evening walks are a lot more pleasant and I don't feel like I'm going to pass out due to the sun/heat!

    It looks like I will be going over my goal of only gaining around 25 lbs, but since I am getting close to the end I'm OK with that. The main thing I'm trying to avoid is extra back pain due to gaining more weight than necessary but I think I can do 6 more weeks.... getting close!

    Yikes! considering I was 231.4 2 days ago, I'm thinking I have water gain due to my binge eating the day before yesterday. I was within my limits yesterday and will uptake the water today so hopefully some of the swelling and water weight will decrease by next week. 4 more weeks to go!

    5'3" started 147 gained 30lbs exactly so far. I could have another 10 days. All the plans I had for this past week were squashed due to being evacuated from our house for the entire week because of the Valley Fire. Luckily, we came back to a house...so many others weren't so lucky :(
    We got back in last night and I went to Target and Ulta and bough some things for the house, baby, our hospital stay and some makeup for me.
    I had a doctors appointment today and I was 2cm dilated which is much better than the high and closed I was last week. He stretched my cervix and it gave me a crazy contraction right there, but not much activity since. I've had a few contractions and lightening crotch but that's about it. I just need to finish cleaning my house and I'll be ready I think. I can't believe it's almost the end. I don't even care about the weight anymore I just want to go into labor!

    I'm officially full term!! I'm cutting it close as I'm only "allowed" to hit 202 lbs. :) I'm feeling fantastic with the gain though since in my last pregnancy I started at 163 and ended up at 213. I look and feel so much healthier this time around and I'm kinda kicking myself for not being more accountable before. It's really not that hard (okay, it's really hard around the 20-25 week stretch :wink: )

    Good Morning Mamma's well it's a new week and I can't say I have been disciplined with my eating or working out for that matter. At all this week, but I am committed to cut out the Chocolate for this week or at least cut down and raise my protein levels
