I just seem to keep gaining and gaining. :(

    12/13/2014 (Pre-pregnancy weight)- 205
    2/10/2015- 210
    2/28/2015- 209.5
    4/9/2015, 21 weeks- 217
    4/16/2015, 22 weeks- 215.2
    4/23/2015, 23 weeks- 213.4
    4/30/2015, 24 weeks- 223.3 (SERIOUSLY, WTF HAPPENED)?
    5/6/2015, 25 weeks- 216.3
    5/14/2015, 26 weeks- 216.0
    7/13/2015, 34 (nearly 35) weeks- 231
    7/28/2015, 37 weeks- 235

    Due date- 8/18/2015
Total gain at 37 weeks- 30 pounds

I have some serious bloating going on. I really hope this gain levels off soon! We're in the middle of a heat wave and I've been feeling so lethargic. Everyone tells me I'm supposed to get this huge 'nesting' streak soon, but I just feel like laying around and napping all day!

Did lots of swimming, walking, and even spent a day at a water/amusement park during our family getaway before school starts next week. Also stuffed my face the entire trip so hoping baby girl gained her weekly half pound and maybe I lost weight somewhere? Have my next ultrasound next week to check on her growth. My last LO wasn't gaining weight at the rate she was supposed to during my last trimester so they induced me 3 weeks early which is why I joined MFP with this pregnancy. So grateful to be home been truly pooped these last few days!

Ooh. Quite the jump... I am holding some hope that the heat played a part in that, but more likely it's the overeating (still! Even though I told myself I wouldn't overeat when we got back from vacation) and the lack of movement (I have been averaging low low steps - like half what I usually do!). Ah well. Back on track, as best I can is all I can do!

Hi everyone! I am currently 21 weeks pregnant, weighing in at about 167 at 5' 6". About 3 weeks ago, I was 164, my pre pregnancy weight was around 155 lbs, but my first trimester I had terrible morning sickness and my first weigh in at the docs was actually 143. If I base my weight gain on my original pre pregnancy weight I have gained, 13 lbs by my 21 weeks. I have a Dr appt tomorrow So I can get a better idea of where I am at because I don't own a scale and I don't think should start now lol. Doc told me ideally do not go over 180 lbs, but even 180 scares me. If I can help it, I don't want to go over 170, but based on my current weight I don't think that's possible. After my first trimester I exercise daily and watch my calories. I have my cal goal set at about 1800, I burn anywhere from 300 to 900 cals a day depending on my energy level, and I end up eating half my calories back. At least once a week I do tend to go over though :( but 2 weeks prior I had my calorie goal set too high and wasn't tracking my burned calories properly so that may explain the more than expected weight gain but then again pregnancy weight gain can do what it wants sometimes lol. I am on track now and hopefully I will see a difference.

    Just fyi:

Breakfast normally consist of egg whites with spinach, onions, and tomatoes. 2 to 3 slices of turkey bacon, and a slice of toasted wheat bread. Sometimes I cut up fruit too.

Lunch consists of 4 oz of lean ground turkey, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, a whole kosher dill pickle, and a nectarine

Dinner consists of romaine lettuce, 3 oz diced tyson grilled chicken, tomatoes, parmesan cheese, croutons, Caesar Vinaigrette dressing, and another pickle.

Snacks I usually eat a protien bar, fruit, cheese, salami, pretzels, or fiberone bars.

    Always looking for more friends.

    week 21 180 lbs.

I have been MIA for a while, eating terrible and laying around way too much. lol. So, two days ago I was like something has to change. I have been back to eating healthy for the last two days (its amazing how quickly my whole attitude and outlook changes, when I eat healthy). I feel great and exercised this morning-- So much more energy from just two days of healthy eating.

    Starting weight: 159.4..... 5' 3"

    Week 4: 158.4 (-1)

    Week 15: 158.4 SAME

So I am glad to report that I have not gained or lost any weight. I will be 16 weeks this Saturday and am glad for no weight gain. Actually my weight fluctuates between 156-158. I have to start making healthy food selections because so far I have just been eating what my stomach can handle. I have a hard time finding foods that sound or look good enough for me to eat. Everyday is a struggle to figure what I want to eat. I am about to get back to working out for the first time since I found out I was pregnant. Can anyone tell me if they would recommend Jillian Michaels No More trouble Zones 3 x a week with very light weights???

Had appointment today and ultrasound shows baby girl is weighing 6.6 lbs! Relief to know that she is healthy. Difficult to restart logging after slacking for a couple weeks and even a bigger pain to log when you graze most of the day because meals don't agree with me. Still making healthy food choices though but exercise has ceased for the moment.

Hopefully I'm leveling out and won't gain too much more. I'm not logging like I should and I stopped working out for about a week due to higher work volume...and excuses! Need to get back on that but I'm finding that if I keep my calories at about 800-900 until 5pm I don't go over at night and I'm really not too hungry.

    1WPP: 155
    2WPP: 149.4
    3WPP: 146.6

I lost a lot the first 2 weeks due to baby/water/etc.; I am exclusively pumping and estimating burning around 700 calories by doing so. I've also been able to start biking and running this week, but was able to start hitting my 10K step goal by 2 weeks pp.

I still have around 10# to lose before being in the healthy range and have set a half pound loss per week goal to achieve. Next goal will be set after I see how I feel at that weight. It has been over a decade since I've been there, so too soon to tell.

Overall, I'm very happy with how my pregnancy went. I really owe a lot to this group for motivating me to check in
and keep myself accountable for the good and bad weeks. Everyone has different results and struggles and it has been so nice to share our weekly experiences. I had a much easier birthing experience this time around and I like to believe it was because of efforts in making healthy decisions.

    :)

Ick! My second trimester was just icky all around, and my weight shows it. I was overeating, and feeling super run down. My stomach tripled in size in just a few weeks and really kicked my butt in terms of mobility. The past few days haven't been so ravenous for me, so hopefully I can watch my food intake for the remainder of the time, cause apparently if I get those cravings, I'm not strong enough to say no.

I'm at 6 weeks and gained 2 pounds. This is within normal fluctuations though, so i consider myself to be maintaining. I started this pregnancy at the same weight as my first. With my first i gained 30 pounds and it took a long time to come off. With this pregnancy i hope to gain only 15-20 pounds. I am eating at maintenance and am maintaining my cardio and weight training. I think weight training will help with the birthing process, because natural birth is exhausting and i hope to have a VBAC.

Woke up this morning and the first thing hubby noticed were my "fat" hands and they were stiff when I tried bending them. Goal for this week is to increase my water to 100 oz per day, log food at least 3 times this week, and go for a walk with the family after dinner now that the temp is dropping to 80 at night. And hopefully ill be able to get these rings off by tonight:\

Congrats TANNE21 on being so close to normal range. Great job. See you in the postpartum group.

aleikita - sorry to hear about your hands. Mine haven't been that bad this pregnancy, but last one I remember wearing wrist braces because they were so swollen and the carpal tunnel was miserable. Hopefully some more water and less sodium will help.

I've heard we all gain at different rates. I've also noticed that if I feel like I'm gaining a lot one week, it ends up evening out another week. If your doctor doesn't have a problem with it, don't stress it. It's more important to get enough healthy nutrients for momma and baby than obsess about extra weight gain. I'm 16 weeks and I've gained 9 lbs. it's a little more than I expected, but I'm okay with it, and my midwife says it's good.

pre-preg weight was 155.6... I had lost a bit before I found out we were pregnant. I'm kinda using the weight I was when I found out as my pre-preg weight, because I got pregnant during the holidays and was eating and drinking with abandon at that time, so feel I might have been up a bit anyway.

My eating has been a tiny bit better (but not by much). Here's hoping it was just the 2nd trimester kicking my butt and I can try to do better in the 3rd. Fingers crossed! As much as I'd like to keep it under 20, I'm not sure if I can and just hope to fall somewhere in the 20-30 range then.

    :)

Um glad to hear you're doing well! And youre already below your prepregnancy weight!! Well done! I hope to see you at the post partum pack in 10-12 weeks. :)

Hey Everyone my name is Tamara just getting started here. This is a great way to keep accountable and to maintain a healthy weight gain. My last pregnancy I gained almost 50lbs and was unable to lose any of it while breastfeeding for a year so this time.
