Poke, I'm right there with ya :(. No matter what I do right now, I'm gaining AT LEAST a pound a week. I've kinda said screw it. If I'm gonna gain that much anyway, I might as well eat a few more of the things I want.

I've decided to just try to make as many healthy decisions as possible and let nature take it's course. I'm done fighting the scale right now. Only 4 weeks to go!

It seems to me like gaining weight is soooooo much easier while pregnant. My body is like, "Oh, you're 200 calories over your weekly goal? 3 pounds for you, girl!" :/

16 lb gain so far, trying to keep it under 165 total. 5'3" 29 years old.

Honestly, I'm surprised it wasn't more. I've really fallen off the healthy eating/walking wagon and I was sure I'd be at 165. The hubby picked up my new elliptical and we will probably get it in the house today so no more excuses! This is great motivation ladies, keep up the posts!! I always get so excited when I see new replies on here, I wish I was on something like this for my last pregnancy.

I forgot to weigh in at home this morning so I weighed in at work; not sure how off it is. I honestly didn't track my food much this week, needed a break. I didn't food prep much this week and although I have been trying to make okay decisions, I have been leaning on processed foods and ordering out. Still haven't been making great decisions though so there is room for improvement.
Yesterday I "started over" and did much better though. I have been staying active and my energy is good. Not getting much sleep though. Water has been bad however I have been drinking more tea.

    Goals for week:
-Make a list of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner options to lean on while on maternity leave (Have a plan!)
-Log 4 hours of intentional exercise
-Drink 56oz of water per day

    Due tomorrow :)

My walking has stopped these last 2 weaks because back and pelvic pain is getting extreme so the little bit of walking i get is in the pool while i sweep for leaves

@poke987 I definitely can't lie down after eating either or else I have a long night of heartburn and indigestion. Have been trying to eat dinner by 6:30 that way it will have time to travel south by the time I am ready to sleep. Also stop drinking water at dinner so I don't wake up more than twice to pee! Seems to be helping a tad

@aleikita that's a good idea to stop drinking water at dinner. My nights have been so uncomfortable recently since I refuse to get up and use the washroom in the night. Then I end up getting up at 6 or so and have an awful time going back to sleep since the sun is up. Or maybe I should just actually get up already....

I absolutely hate stepping on the scale, because I gained A LOT in the first trimester. I was SO nauseous, the only way I felt better was to constantly eat. :grimace::cookie:

Doctor has now informed me to cut out simple sugars (no ice cream, cookies, candy, cakes, etc. ), and I am trying so hard, but that is all I want! I'm also watching my carbs and trying to up my protein.

Holy cow, it's been quite a while but don't worry, I am still logging in! How am I nearly 35 weeks already? I've been gaining pretty rapidly, which is normal for this trimester but my eating hasn't been the best so I'm trying to cut down on that. I've had pretty bad junk food cravings that I've been indulging more than I care to admit. Thankfully, my baby girl (first baby)! is measuring right on target for an August 18 due date and my blood pressure is still great (120/75). 5 more weeks to go!

    12/13/2014 (Pre-pregnancy weight)- 205
    2/10/2015- 210
    2/28/2015- 209.5
    4/9/2015, 21 weeks- 217
    4/16/2015, 22 weeks- 215.2
    4/23/2015, 23 weeks- 213.4
    4/30/2015, 24 weeks- 223.3 (SERIOUSLY, WTF HAPPENED)?
    5/6/2015, 25 weeks- 216.3
    5/14/2015, 26 weeks- 216.0
    7/13/2015, 34 (nearly 35) weeks- 231

    Due date- 8/18/2015
Total gain at 34 weeks- 26 pounds

I'm really hoping that a lot of this is bloating, since my feet have been very swollen with this heat. I am back to logging and tracking the best that I can. Work was stressful for the past couple of weeks since we had two major events I had to plan and my boss was on vacation, so I was covering for her. I have to admit it was kind of nice to have a distraction from thinking about pregnancy constantly, but holy stress! Time to focus on healthy eating again and getting ready for maternity leave. I hope everyone else is doing well.

@SelfHelpJunky - way to stay accountable! I'm sure with the heat, and you being so close to the end of your pregnancy, a lot of that weight is probably bloat/water weight.

    Best of luck!

@JustAnotherGirlSuzanne If I get up around 5 or 6 to use the restroom I have a rough time going back to sleep too. It usually would take me about 2 hours to fall back asleep, 6am is way to early of a start for my day especially since my girls sleep until 10 or 11 somedays!

@aleikita my daughter sleeps in pretty late too! It's so frustrating not being able to fall asleep again since I'd rather sleep in the morning than to be forced to take naps in the afternoon.
