    Hey Steve - glad to hear your good news.

    Checking in this week:

    CWW = 205.0
    LWW = 205.2
    Loss = 0.2

    Not a big loss, but still in the right direction. This is the first week in a long time I have been consistently logging everything I eat. I'm hoping this will help me finally get back on track towards meeting my goal.

    Howdy guys,

    Sorry that I've been MIA here the last couple of weeks. I've just been really busy and when I did have a little free time, I just didn't feel like trying to get caught up with this.

    I've been doing tons of physical labor over at my daughter's house. I'd weigh myself occasionally and found my weight was all over the place. I'd be up 4 pounds one day then down a bit the next. It was frustrating the heck out of me.

    I had this weekend to myself and even though I didn't do the heavy manual labor, I had plenty of projects and chores to keep me busy. This morning's weight was back to the same weight I had at the last chart I posted. I've been fairly consistent at logging my food but did skip a couple of days last week.

    Next weekend I'm building a 50 long retaining wall at my daughter's. We'll see how that goes.

    Dave, nice job on logging your food again and you are obviously chipping away at the pounds. Nicely done. It's just you and I so here is the chart.

    Tim - no worries about being missing in action the last few weeks, hope your building projects are going well.
    Checking in:
    CWW = 206.2
    LWW = 205.0
    Gain =1.2

    I didn't do quite as well logging food this week, but was surprised I had a gain. Just keep at it.

    One day at a time, right buddy? Everyone, but me, is on vacation at work so not leaving me a lot of time. I watched what I ate and am able to log a loss this week. We'll get there. Might take a bit longer than I thought or hoped but will get there eventually never-the-less.

    Nice job on logging the loss Tim. This week I had a loss even if small. The one day at a time mentality is what I need to keep in mind.

    Didn't do well this week tracking calories.

    Hi Dave. Sorry I didn't get the chart up. I've been on vacation and haven't been paying much attention to the site here. My wife went to Texas to visit her mom and I decided to take the same time off and hang out at home. Been doing some motorcycle riding and some woodworking projects in the garage. I did have a loss this morning which I'm pleased with. I haven't been eating too terrible and I've been staying active. Did 18 holes of golf today and legs are a little sore but I got my step count in.

    LW - 311.9
    CW - 310.7
    Total - 1.2 loss

    Hi Tim, No worries about the chart, vacation is a good thing. Looks like you are about to go below 310. Good job!
    I did not do a good job of watching what I ate this week and ended up gaining over two pounds. See if I can reverse that this week.

    Holy Moly, looks like we both fell hard this week. I didn't get any exercise in and it shows. I really want to get under the 300 pound mark. Gotta get off my butt.

    I had a better week this week. I keep reminding myself it's one day at a time, and if it's a bad day, bounce back the next day.

    My daughter leaves Monday morning to spend her fall quarter in Paris, so we've a couple family dinners to send her off between now and then. I will have to make up for that eating during the second half of the coming week. It would be nice to have two weeks in a row with a loss.

    CWW = 206.7
    LWW = 208.0
    Loss= 1.3

    After a long time away, the weight's getting out of control again. Time to do something about it.

    Hola to my buddy Todd and nice job on the loss this week Dave. I thought I had a pretty good week. I also burned a butt load of calories working on my daughter's yard last weekend. I jumped on the scale Sunday and almost fell off in shock. I was certain there would be a slight loss but instead saw a huge gain. I'm attributing the gain to water retention. I didn't drink enough Saturday. I think I only went pee once all day there and didn't even have to get up that night like normal. I'm giving my body a few days to balance out then will step on the scale again.

    Nice to have you back Todd. I'll get the charts up this week! Have a great day guys!!

    Welcome back Todd, nice to see another face here. I managed to avoid snacks and kept the eating under control this week. Now I need to do it for another week and see if I can keep going in the right direction.

    Keep drinking that water Tim!

    Dave, awesome, awesome job buddy. That makes for a great week. Fingers crossed to continue that next week. I ended up with a gain for the week but am not too depressed about it. I have to get off my but though.

    Good morning guys. I got back into logging my meals this week and lo and behold I dropped 2.1 pounds. Funny how that works. The wife and I have also been doing short walks after work that aren't hurting me either.

    Tim great job on logging and walking. I had a slight gain this week, but probably just balancing out last week's lost. I've had a cold this week and cut back on my exercising a bit.

    Great job on another loss this week Dave. I didn't lose as much as hoped or expected but going in the right direction.
    Leaving to Hawaii next Wednesday and won't be back till the following Sunday. So no charts for a couple of weeks after this one. Have a great weekend. I'll still check in here regularly in hopes some of the old timers decide to pop back in.

    Hawaii sounds wonderful Tim. I will continue to check in, it's a good habit for me and keeps me honest. My wife and I were just talking today about how many miles would we need on our Alaska Airlines mileage plan to fly to Hawaii next summer. We are going to Paris over Thanksgiving to visit our daughter who is studying there for Fall Qtr - it's also our 30th wedding anniversary.

    We were involved in a car accident on Saturday. A drunk driver (at least I'm assuming it was alcohol - as the State trooper handcuffed him after the field sobriety test and put him in the back of the patrol car) crossed the center line and I was unable to avoid him. His car ended up hitting our driver side rear wheel. We went off the road (Hwy 20 near Marblemount) and rolled over 1.5 times. Thank God for seat belts and air bags. We were both able to get out of the truck on our own and have only minor scrapes and bruises. This kind of experience puts things in a different perspective. Take your time and enjoy your trip to Hawaii Tim. Life can change in a fraction of a second.

    Holy moly Dave!!! I am so glad you and wife were able to walk away. That really does put things into perspective I guess. Also, Congrats on your 30th anniversary. In this day and age it is pretty rare to find lasting relationships like ours. Take care and chat with you in a couple of weeks. Tim

    Howdy Gents,

    Todd and I are back from our trip to Hawaii and had a great time. I was able to lose a little weight but I think that was more attributable to getting a nasty flu bug and not eating for a few days.

    Fall and winter has set in here in the Pacific Northwest and I've got to now work hard to avoid piling on the winter and holiday weight.

    Anyways, here is a quick update since the last chart. Hope you all are having a fantastic week.

    Hi Dave,
    Nice loss this week! Sorry that it's taking me longer and longer to get these charts up. I've got a short week this week then I'm leaving to Phoenix next Saturday for a week. Not sure if I'll be able to post a chart or not just yet. Anyways, nice job and hope you have a great week.
